The 2022 player rankings were recently updated and the next group of players up for review are the Offensive Linemen. The players listed are amongst the best in their class:
<strong>State Rank: 36 – POS[Rank] #7. [player_tooltip player_id="105945" first="Eli" last="Brasher"], 6’5” 290, Christ School.</strong> A dominant force on the offensive line. Displays good footwork while making punishing blocks, a high number are pancake blocks. Strong straight-line blocking is one of his strengths. His high level of play throughout the season helped his team win a state championship.
<strong>State Rank: 37 – POS[Rank] #8. [player_tooltip player_id="97533" first="Omari" last="Allen"], 6’5” 335, Vance Co. HS.</strong> A huge lineman who displays good use of hands. He displays good footwork and lateral movement. He has a bright upside and a lot of potential to become a dominant force on the offensive line. The expectations are high as he prepares for the upcoming season.
<strong>State Rank: 38 – POS[Rank] #9. [player_tooltip player_id="97530" first="Trenton" last="White"], 6’4” 275, Hunt HS.</strong> Displays good footwork and quickly contacts the defender. He displays good drive blocking skills. Displays good strength and agility on the field. Displays the skills to become a dominant force on the offensive line. There are high expectations for him as he prepares for the upcoming season.
<strong>State Rank: 41 – POS[Rank] #10. [player_tooltip player_id="97538" first="Leslie" last="Williams"], 6’3” 300, Warren Co. HS. </strong> He is extraordinarily strong and athletic big lineman that can move. Displays good footwork and lateral movement. He has the potential to play on either side of the ball at the collegiate level. Displays the skills to become a dominant force on the offensive line. He will continue to improve his skills during the upcoming season.
<strong>State Rank: 74 – POS[Rank] #11. [player_tooltip player_id="105946" first="Trevor" last="Tate"], 6’4” 270, Cuthbertson HS.</strong> Displays good footwork and technique coming out of his stance. Displays good speed on straight-line blocking which is one of his strengths. He will continue to improve his skills during the upcoming season.
