There are some highly touted prospects and several sleeper prospects that should all be getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
TJ McKay- Sarasota
5’8 165lbs
McKay had a very good Junior season with over 400 yards receiving, he is a great athlete that also is a high-level cornerback that had 5 ints and 19 pass breakups last season. McKay could play multiple positions at the next level. Sarasota does a good job using him all over the field to take advantage of his play-making ability. He has good speed and natural change of direction, he’s a quick-twitch type athlete that makes plays with the ball in his hands. He also has the ability to go up and attack the ball in the air and make acrobatic catches. He’s a very good college Prospect on either side of the ball.

Jaleel Duncan- Lakewood Ranch
5’9 170lbs
Duncan is another quick-twitch slot receiver that gets in and out of his breaks quickly and shows the ability to go up and high point the ball. Has nice short area quickness, agility, and burst. He’s also a good punt returner, and has a few highlights where he makes some great special teams plays. He currently doesn’t have any offers.

Myles Weston- Venice
6’0 170lbs
Weston is a very good athlete that also plays basketball; he had a very nice season catching 33 passes for 533 yards and 5 total touchdowns. Weston is an outstanding receiver prospect, his film is loaded with acrobatic catches, he has home run hitting speed, and shows good acceleration, burst, and balance after the catch. Weston will be a highly sought after recruit by his senior season. Weston Sports a 3.8 GPA.

Jayshon Platt- Venice
6’2 180lbs
Platt had a very good Junior season finishing with 54 catches for 693 yards and 7 total touchdowns. Platt is a really good all-round receiver that does a good job adjusting to the ball, he runs good routes and gains instant separation off his release. He makes a lot of contested catches showing strong hands, and natural body control. He also has a 3.5 GPA.

Keyon Sears- Venice
5’7 160lbs
Sears in my opinion is one of the best sophomore slot receiver prospects in the entire state, he is a big play threat that finished with 26 catches for 552 yards and averaged 21.2 yards per catch this season! He’s a slot receiver that gets in and out of his breaks quickly and can get vertical in a hurry. Venice uses him in a variety of different ways including jet sweeps, screens, and on kick returns where average of 27 yards per return.

EJ Allen- Manatee c/o 23
5’11 160lbs
Allen is a Junior prospect that played behind three very good receivers for Manatee’s high-powered passing attack. He only had six catches for 90 yards and a touchdown, but when you watch his film you see flashes of him being a big-time player next year. He explodes out of his stance and creates instant separation, has very good quickness, speed, agility and gets into his route quickly. He also showed the ability to go up in High Point the ball. He’s also an outstanding kick returner that averaged over 33 yards per return. I’m very excited to watch what he does this season in Manatee’s passing attack.
