Lake County’s Preseason All-Area Team

Under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t be releasing the roster for a preseason all-area football team in January, but as we’ve all come to understand, the circumstances we’re facing are anything but normal. With the season set to begin in a little over a month (fingers crossed), I figured what not a better way to build up some momentum for the Lake County Area by shining some light on the players who I believe will have the most significant impact this spring season. Dominant in the intermediate passing game and can even beat you deep if you’re caught slipping. Has the size and skill to be a matchup nightmare in the redzone.</em> <h6><strong>OL</strong></h6> Ty Lawrence | Libertyville ’21-<em>Fundamentally sound and plays with a low pad level that holds up against the bull rush.
