Multiple players putting their schools on the 2020 football map!

In a tough year for all players across the state of Georgia in this COVID season of football, these players continued to help their teams get noticed with outstanding plays and unbelievable stats.  Some players didn’t set off the radar but these players stood out and took advantage of this unforeseeable 2020 season. <strong>2021 - [player_tooltip player_id="33713" first="Jalen" last="Addie"], QB, Warner Robins</strong> According to the Georgia Public Broadcasting, Warner Robins tied a state record for points in a title game.  Aside from a one-play kneel down to end the first half, Warner Robins scored a touchdown on every possession that Addie completed.  The senior accounted for 366 yards and six total touchdowns.  Addie completed 16 of 18 pass attempts for 259 yards, in the state game.  He is a special player. <strong>2021 - [player_tooltip player_id="33858" first="Sam" last="Phillips"], WR, Cartersville</strong> This senior produced arguably the two most jaw-dropping plays of the state finals from a Hurricane perspective.  He opened the game with a kickoff return touchdown of 94 yards, breaking free to give Cartersville an early lead.  Phillips later made an incredible one-handed grab for a huge gain.  Overall Phillips excelled in all three phases of the game, catching four passes for 48 yards and recording five tackles.
