Prep Redzone Kansas is proud to announce updated rankings have been published for the Class of 2022.
Here is a look at five players who were not in the initial preseason rankings, but who are now in the rankings after solid 2020 high school seasons.
<strong>RB, [player_tooltip player_id="91372" first="Aquantez" last="Love"], 6’0”, 195, Olathe North (Ranked No. 15)</strong> – Love rushed for 896 yards in a COVID shortened season for Olathe North. He is a quick runner and scored 12 touchdowns in 2020. He is the second-highest ranked running back from the Kansas Class of 2022.
<strong>ATH, [player_tooltip player_id="89245" first="Lucas" last="Bullock"], 6’1”, 205, Blue Valley North (Ranked No. 28)</strong> – What position Bullock plays in college might be determined by a program’s needs, however, it is clear that Bullock has the skills to play collegiately. The Blue Valley North Mustang played running back and free safety in 2020. He could be a solid player early in his college career on a special teams unit.
<strong>OL, [player_tooltip player_id="91367" first="Gavin" last="Bell"], 6’4”, 270, El Dorado (Ranked No. 32) </strong>– Bell is a strong lineman with solid technique. He has a good first step and played in a successful offense. The Eudora senior has an offer from Bowling Green and will be sure to receive more offers from in-state and out-of-state programs.
<strong>WR, [player_tooltip player_id="89226" first="Silas" last="Etter"], 6’3”, 200, Eudora (Ranked No. 35)</strong> – Etter is a big target who has already verbally committed to play at Kansas State University. He had 18 catches, four for touchdowns in the 2020 season. Eudora was a team that liked to run the ball and played a shortened season.
<strong>QB, [player_tooltip player_id="89673" first="Cade" last="Oliver"], 6’0”, 190, Wabaunsee (Ranked No. 36)</strong> – Oliver had a productive junior season for the Chargers. He passed for 2,083 yards and threw 21 touchdowns. He has a solid pocket presence and a big arm.
