Stand out performances in the state title game in Aledos 10th state championship. Well known as "Title Town" defeats Crosby for another--- trophy in their trophy case. We highlighted a few prospects who had "Standout-performances" in Friday’s state championship game.
Crosby held a close lead early on in the first half of the football game, but as the game went on. Aledo’s high-powered offense found their rhythm and never let their foot off the gas. Clicking on all cylinders offensively and defensively. We highlighted one notable "MVP" of the game.
Aledo’s runningback [player_tooltip player_id="60669" first="DeMarco" last="Roberts"], who was awarded the Offensive MVP of the game honors for his outstanding performance in the game. Rushing for 31 attempts with 258 yards on the ground and 6 touchdowns, earning him the accolade. Roberts has the 2nd most Touchdowns in 5 A state title game history. Aledo’s very own Jonathan <span style="font-size: 1rem;">Grey ( 2008-2011 ) is the only player with more (8). </span>

Another Aledo player to note was Alabama four-star commit [player_tooltip player_id="60168" first="JoJo" last="Earle"], who also had a great night offensively in the game helping Aledo win yet another State Championship. Earle caught six passes for 133 yards and 1 touchdown and also rushing for 12 times and 91 yards. He accounted for a total of 224 yards from scrimmage and showed his extreme athleticism all throughout the game.
Earle was a long-time LSU commit in till Dec.16th and signed with the national champs, Alabama on the first day of Early Signing Period. Experts think Earle has NFL potential and will eventually play on Sundays.
Crosby finished with two 100 yard rushers in Reggie Branch 117 yards and a touchdown. Also, Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="60469" first="Deniquez" last="Dunn"] finished the game with 104 yards rushing, 1 touchdown rushing and 124 yards passing, and 1 TD through the air.
Aledo finished with 621 yards of offense, 388 rushing lead by none other than the Offensive MVP of the game and Lamar commit [player_tooltip player_id="60669" first="DeMarco" last="Roberts"].
