Gabarri Johnson Gabarri Johnson 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Lincoln | 2023 State WA , Dual-Threat QB, 6’2″ 200 lbs., Lincoln
Johnson has quickly picked up five Pac-12 offers since June while impressing on the 7on7 circuit. Considered one of the top dual-threat quarterback prospects in the 2023 class, Johnson possesses a physical skill set and feel for the game uncommon for most QBs his age. His 7on7 performances showed off incredible arm talent, a quick release, smooth throwing motion, and the ability to make scramble throws outside the pocket. He played in spots as a freshman but will get the chance to shine and build on his hot recruiting start during the coming seasons. Johnson’s recruitment will be an exciting one to watch.
Jayden Limar Jayden Limar 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Lake Stevens | 2023 State WA , RB, 5’11″ 190 lbs., Lake Stevens
Another prospect who’s recruitment benefited greatly from recent tournaments and showcases, Limar picked up his first couple Pac-12 offers impressing Utah and Oregon St. In his freshman season, Limar displayed natural athleticism as a runner looking explosive through the hole and showed impressive playmaking ability ripping off long runs and finishing drives at the goal line. At 5’11” 190 lbs., the young RB should continue to add weight to his frame and improve upon his already impressive physical skills. Look for more Power 5 interest coming Limar’s way in the future.
Caleb Presley Caleb Presley 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Eastside Catholic | 2023 State WA , DB, 6’0″ 170 lbs., Eastside Catholic
Presley’s high-level football instincts and physicality are rare among defensive backs his age. He’s a quick-twitch athlete with an uncanny ability to read the quarterback’s eyes and react to the ball. His defensive playmaking ability jumps off the tape highlighted by big hits and PBUs sitting underneath in zone coverage. At 6’0” 170 lbs. and growing, it’s easy to foresee Presley developing into a strong run-support corner to go along with his excellent ball skills in coverage. He’s picked up five Pac-12 offers since September and is continuing to attract attention from programs all over the country. Presley is already one of the top 2023 DB prospects in Washington and could end up being one of the top DBs in his class on the West Coast by the end of his high school career.
Tapuloa Tusi, OL, 6’4″ 350 lbs., Lincoln
At 6’4” 350 lbs., Tusi has dominating size over players two to three years older than him. Tusi is violent at the point of attack and uses his towering size to physically move defenders and create running lanes in the ground game. His body type and movement are ideal for the OG position but if he continues to grow into his body and develops a longer reach he could transition well to OT at the college level. Excels in the running game and should be a strong anchor for any offensive line by the time he’s a junior or senior. Coaches may be waiting to see improvement in his pass-blocking and leg drive before offering but his recruiting stock should rise significantly in the coming year.
Jayden Wayne Jayden Wayne 6'5" | 240 lbs | DL Lincoln | 2023 FL , ATH, 6’5″ 240 lbs., Lincoln
A two-way athlete lining up at DE and WR, Wayne is already fielding offers from almost every Power 5 conference. At 6’5” 240 lbs., Wayne showed explosiveness off the LOS and a nose for the ball making big plays in the backfield his freshman season. He makes excellent use of his long reach when engaging blockers and has a solid foundation of pass-rusher instincts and technique. As he builds on his strength, he should become a dependable edge-setter in the run game. With his frame and versatility, Wayne could develop into the type of hybrid LB/DE that’s been trending in college football with players like Isaiah Simmons from Clemson and Micah Parsons at Penn St. Wayne is one of the more promising young players at the DE position coming out of Washington.
