Luka Vincic, OL, 6’5” 270 lbs., Bothell
Vincic has transformed his body this offseason by adding over 50 lbs. of good weight while maintaining his athleticism and mobility. This transformation from a tall, lanky sophomore has paid immediate dividends with offers coming in from Cal, Utah, Yale, and Princeton this fall. Possesses good feet, mobility, and lateral movement which can be attributed to his background in basketball and track. Good bend and flexibility in the hips and ankles allowing him to play with good pad level and leverage. He’s a great blocker in space that can get to the second level or out in front of screens and maintain his blocks. With great upside and potential, he’s a guy that could collect double digit D1 offers if he continues on the same trajectory.
Keith Olson, OL, 6’6” 290 lbs., Napavine
Ideal size, length, and frame for the college level at 6’6” 290 lbs. Shows good natural strength at the POA with a good initial punch and his ability to re-anchor and re-position himself after first contact. When engaged with a block, he does a good job locking into the defender and moving his feet to mirror their movement and stay in front. Good posture and bend in his pass set and displays a quick kick step to beat the defender to the contact point. As a run blocker, he’s quick off the ball, physical, and finishes his blocks to the whistle. After strong performances at several offseason camps/showcases he’s looking to build on his offer from Oregon State and once he has the opportunity to show his development on film more Power 5 programs will take notice.
Jakobus Seth, DE, 6’3” 265 lbs., Lakewood
A physical force on both sides of the ball he plays with high caliber aggressiveness and intensity. He’s violent and overpowering at the contact point using a combination of size, strength, and leverage to often put opponents on their backs. Possesses a quick and explosive first step off the ball and is able to smoothly transition that speed/acceleration into power at the POA. Good instincts and awareness to diagnose plays quickly and is relentless in pursuit. He’s a strong and reliable tackler in the box and in open space using his lateral agility and athleticism to track down ball carriers. It will be interesting to see how he develops but projects to play on the defensive side at the college level and is expected to build on his offers from Yale and Dartmouth.
Vega Ioane, OL, 6’5” 310 lbs., Graham-Kapowsin
Ioane’s recruiting stock has steadily been rising since the spring pulling in major D1 offers from the majority of PAC12 schools including USC, Colorado, UCLA, Washington, Washington State, ASU, and Cal. He has a good frame for the position at 6’5” 310 lbs. with good natural strength in both his upper and lower half. At his size and age he shows impressive mobility, bend, and flexibility. Flashes his athleticism and smooth movement blocking in space with his ability to engage and maintain his blocks at the second level and on the perimeter. Strong and powerful with effective leverage usage at the POA allows him to consistently get good push/movement off the LOS. He’s a well balanced blocker at all levels that has the tools and ability to be one of the top 2022 lineman on the west coast.
Jackson Esary, QB, 6’2” 205 lbs., Kalama
Has yet to pull in that elusive first offer but has continued to develop and is consistently mentioned as one of the top young signal callers in the state. He’s an athletic dual-threat QB that has a great ability to improvise, extend, and make plays with both his arm and his legs. He’s a natural playmaker with good instincts and awareness in the pocket to feel/avoid pressure. Demonstrates good overall arm talent with strong footwork and throwing mechanics to deliver accurate balls at all three levels. Also shows the ability to make off-platform throws and on the run in both directions. Does a good job seeing the whole field and anticipating his targets coming open allowing him to hit them in stride to run after the catch. Has a lot of tools and natural ability that colleges look for in a QB and should continue to climb recruiting boards and pull in offers when he can showcase his development.
