Not too many surprises or changes from this latest update of our top five for the class of 2021. A few of these players have held their rank for some time now, but there was one new addition to the top five. Take a look at some of the best players in the state of Kansas.
No. 1: Davontae Pritchard – Gardner-Edgerton, 6’1”, 206, OLB/SS
Pritchard has been king of the hill, as he’s held down the top spot all season. The Gardner-Edgerton product made his early commitment to Kansas State in August, and he has been rated by Rivals and 247Sports as a 3-Star prospect. Pritchard is a good athlete that can be used in a variety of ways for the Wildcat’s defense.

The No.1 ranked running back in the state comes in at No. 2 on our list. Neal announced back in March that he would be staying home and attending the University of Kansas. Like Pritchard, the two-sport athlete earned a 3-Star grade from Rivals and 247 Sports. You can expect to see some big plays from the versatile back at Kansas.

– Rose Hill, 6’5”, 280, OT
Coming in at No. 3 in the top five is one of the best offensive tackles in the state. Bolticoff sustained his No. 3 ranking with consistent play throughout this season. The 3-Star prospect announced his commitment to Texas Christian University in June. The Horned Frogs should be excited about adding this solid tackle to their offensive-live.

Blue Valley West | 2021 StateKS
– Blue Valley, 6’3”, 182, WR
At No. 4 in our player rankings is the talented wide-out from Blue Valley. Stephens committed to Kansas State his junior year and has earned a 3-Star grade from Rivals and 247 Sports. His frame and athleticism will translate well to the collegiate level. Stephens has the potential to make an impact in his freshmen year for the Wildcats.

The explosive back from Wichita Northwest rounds up our top five. Bolden’s play this season leaped his rank on our list from No. 22 to No. 5. He’s been recognized for his impressive season by being named to the 5A All-State Team, and he recently committed to Northern Illinois University. His play-style could lead to some early snaps in his freshmen year.
