North Myrtle Beach was absent of those super star type players this fall.
And, yet, the Chiefs still advanced to the final game of the Class 4A season. They did that because the roster was made up of a ton of experienced players who each did a few things really well.
These six departing seniors are still relatively early in the recruiting game.
HENRY DUKE, OL/DL
You can teach a lot of things to a lot of players, but height isn’t one of them. At 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, Duke is giving colleges the option of staying at defensive end of bulking him up and moving him to a tackle position.
NYLIEK LIVINGSTON, RB
Livingston is small by just about any college’s standards, as he’s just 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds. Just the same, he didn’t run for 1,454 yards and 10 touchdowns in 10 games because he stinks at football.

With a sub-4.5-second 40 time and time on both sides of the ball, Belle is a prospect who can span the edges next season in college. If he stays at cornerback at the next level, he has the potential to be an aggressive lock-down type.
STEPHON EDGE, OL
At 6-foot-2 and 255 pounds, Edge has been a weight-room junkie but without the college meal plan. Now add in that he’s been successful in zone, man and gap blocking schemes and his has a tremendous upside.
ALEX MCGILLICUDDY, OL/DL
McGillicuddy has been a big part of the Chiefs’ offensive line the last two seasons, but that was more out of necessity than anything else. He’s a natural interior defensive lineman and now takes his experience from the other side with him.

Even when Smith’s field goal duties stumbled a bit, he was a consistent weapon in punting and kickoffs. His hang times are north of 4 seconds, and he’s got the occasional 50- and 60-yard boot in his repertoire.
