Top Passing Yards in 6A Region 1

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong><em>With the 2020 season coming to an end, we're looking at the top passing yard leaders in 6A Region 1. There are some big-time prospects and several sleeper prospects that should all be getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.</em></strong></span> &nbsp; <strong><em>Rennie Prim Jr- Escambia</em></strong> <strong><em>6'0 150lbs</em></strong> Prim had a very good senior season leading the region in passing yards with 1823 and 21 touchdowns, he completed over 66% of his passes showing off his accuracy, and his quick release. He's a very smart quarterback that get the ball out of his hands quickly, reads defenses and takes what they give him consistently. He's a smart quarterback that has a 4.3 GPA, and it shows on the field with his decisive decision-making and his ability to process coverages quickly. It was a very good deep-ball that allows receivers to run under it after the catch, also shows good accuracy and mechanics. He's another good quarterback prospect that shockingly doesn't have any offers. <strong><em>Film:</em></strong> <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/7810633/Liam-Byrd">https://www.hudl.com/profile/7810633/Liam-Byrd</a> &nbsp; <strong><em>Tyler Buchanan- Milton</em></strong> <strong><em>6'2 200lbs</em></strong> Buchanan had a terrific senior season for Milton throwing for 1624 yards and 20 touchdowns and completing over 60% of his passes. Buchanan it's a terrific drop-back quarterback prospect, he has an outstanding arm and throws with a lot of zip and velocity. He throws a pretty ball and his ball placement is above average, showing on film the ability to throw back shoulder throws and place the ball anywhere he needs it. He is going to be a steal for whoever signs him. Washington</em></strong> <strong><em>5'10 150lbs</em></strong> Steele is a sophomore that had a very good season for Booker T Washington, in his first year starting at quarterback he threw for 1530 yards and 12 touchdowns, and completing over 62% of his passes. He's a very athletic quarterback that does a good job buying time in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield, has very good accuracy at all three levels. <strong><em>Film:</em></strong> <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/12983180/Ammiel-Steele">https://www.hudl.com/profile/12983180/Ammiel-Steele</a> &nbsp; <strong><em>Ethan Dattilio- Matanzas</em></strong> <strong><em>6'3 205lbs</em></strong> Dattilio capped off his senior season throwing for 1447 yards and 16 touchdowns could also chipped in with 108th yards rushing. He's a big prototype drop back quarterback that throws a pretty deep ball, and has very sound mechanics and footwork. Doesn't have any offers but he did get invited to the All-American Bowl to Showcase his skills in Orlando. <strong><em>Film:</em></strong><a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/6402397/Ethan-Dattilio"> https://www.hudl.com/profile/6402397/Ethan-Dattilio</a> &nbsp; <strong><em>Sam Edwards- St. Augustine</em></strong> <strong><em>6'2 180lbs</em></strong> Edwards has led Powerhouse st. Augustine to a 10-2 record and a spot in the state semifinals. This season he's thrown for 1363 yards and 12 touchdowns and has rushed for 286 yards and six touchdowns. He's an athletic quarterback that gets the ball out of his hands quickly on short route, and has arm strength and touch to be to beat you deep as well. He currently holds offers from Monmouth College, Mount Union, and Depauw. <strong><em>Film:</em></strong> <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/9451386/Sam-Edwards">https://www.hudl.com/profile/9451386/Sam-Edwards</a> &nbsp; <strong><em>Theodore Lockley- Mainland</em></strong> <strong><em>6'0 175lbs</em></strong> Lockley is a three-star Prospect that is a very versatile athlete that was used at quarterback this season, he projects to be able to play multiple positions at the next level and is currently committed to Eastern Carolina. He has over 36 offers! He's passed for 1071 yards 13 touchdowns and has rushed for 410 yards and 1 touchdown.
