The skilled position recruits are something that the state of Arkansas is doing a better job of producing. All five wide receivers in this list have the ability to break a game wide open with the mix of speed and routes. The wide receivers that we are going to examine will all play on Saturdays and will have a chance to impact a team over the next few seasons. Marlon Crockett Marlon Crockett 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Cabot | 2021 State AR - Cabot Marlon Crockett Marlon Crockett 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Cabot | 2021 State AR has had the opportunity to impress numerous scouts over the past few seasons. Crockett has displayed impressive route running and he has the speed to create separation from defensive backs. Crockett does a good job of high pointing the football and using his athletic ability to out jump the defensive back. He will need to continue to get stronger at the next level, but this will be a player that sees plenty of playing time on Saturdays in the future. Crockett has recently reopened his recruiting, so teams still have an opportunity to snag the playmaker. Ja’Quez Cross Ja’Quez Cross 5'10" | 170 lbs | ATH Fordyce | 2021 State AR - Fordyce Cross has lined up all over the field for the Fordyce Redbugs this season. He has run the ball well for Fordyce and has shown that he is not afraid to run between the tackles. From a wide receiver standpoint, Cross has excellent receiving skills. Cross creates separation using his speed and he has the ability to turn on a second gear and just leave defensive backs behind him. Cross has racked up over 750 yards receiving and tacked on another 800 yards rushing. Cross will continue to get stronger but Purdue securing his commitment gives the Boilermakers another deep weapon for an improving football team. James Jordan James Jordan 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Robinson | 2021 State AR - Joe T. Robinson The central part of the state continues to produce incredibly talented wide receivers. Jordan is what most scouts look for at the wide receiver position a tall physical wide receiver. Jordan is 6-3, and he uses that height well to highpoint the football. Jordan is a favorite target of Robinson’s Buddy Gaston Buddy Gaston 6'4" | 185 lbs | QB Robinson | 2021 State AR . Jordan has hauled in 46 receptions for 654 yards this season. He is such a dangerous receiver in the open field, and he uses his size to his advantage. With several division one scholarship offers, Jordan is going to have a great opportunity to terrorize opposing defenses on Saturdays next season. Bryce Bohannon- Conway Bryce Bohannon is one wide receiver that does his job every week. Bohannon is the wide receiver that opposing defensive coordinators have to account for because he will just kill them in regards to keeping drives alive. He will have the opportunity to play on Saturdays after recently committing to the Tulane Green Wave. Bohannon uses his speed to gain separation from the opposing cornerbacks and he will fit nicely into the Tulane offense. Bohannon will get stronger over the course of the offseason and he really has the potential to do some big things at the college level. Kreed Stubbs Kreed Stubbs 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Atkins | 2021 State AR - Atkins The one wide receiver that has flown under the radar this season is a true playmaker. Stubbs did a little bit of everything this season for Atkins. Stubbs racked up 40 passes for 762 yards receiving. He had teams attempt to double cover him this season and he was still very productive this season. Stubbs is an excellent route runner, and he does not allow the opposing cornerbacks to get physical. He is going to be one of the big steals of the signing period this year. Stubbs has division one talent. One thing that is certain, whoever gets Stubbs to sign a letter of intent instantly has upgraded the receiving corps.
