Top 2021 Uncommitted Players in SD- RB

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56249" first="Tate" last="Johnson"]</strong>- Brandon Valley Johnson led a stellar rushing attack for the Lynx in their State Championship campaign. While a lot of teams knew to stop him, his OL would not let them, and he definitely hit them where it hurt every time. He has blistering speed, great vision, agility, patience for his blocks and just finds a way to make a big play. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56269" first="Joseph" last="Turay"]</strong>- Sioux Falls Roosevelt Turay gave the Rough Riders a solid piece in the run game in a versatile offensive unit. He is a very physical runner, looking to dish out contact on every play than get around it. He has good vision, balance and has enough break away speed to bust a big play at any moment. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56302" first="Maguire" last="Raske"]</strong>- Pierre TF Riggs Raske had a great season on the Governor offense, rushing and receiving. He has great vision, lateral agility, and is very strong. He hits the gap with conviction and explodes for a big gain and fights off any solo tackler. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56288" first="Brady" last="Peterson"]</strong>- Beresford Peterson was having a great start to the 2020 season, I believe and injury cut his season short. He has explosive speed, is a good target out of the backfield, does not go down easy and breaks off a lot of big runs. He is also a good lead blocker and pass-blocker when he isn’t running the ball. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56336" first="John" last="LaCognata"]</strong>- Vermillion LaCognata had a few breakout games this year, a good primary weapon out of the backfield to make things easier on a young QB. He’s really good in space, primarily catching flare routes and turning on the jets for big gains. He’s good at making one cut and getting up field for big chunks of yardage, does not go down with arm tackles. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56364" first="Parker" last="Phillips"</strong>]- Mitchell Phillips was also off to a good start to the season and had it cut short by injury. Watching the first few games, he was patient with his blockers and then hit the gap and turned on the jets and got past the 3rd level of the defense in a hurry. He was also good moving laterally as well, making it hard for defenders to square him up. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56412" first="Kaden" last="Johnson"]</strong>- Tea Area Johnson was a great rusher for the State Champion Titans. He was good taking handoffs from a wing back, or out of the I-formation. Following a stellar O-Line and a good FB, he had huge seams to run through, was at the 3rd level real quick too. Once he was out in space, he was gone, blazing speed, and a good deal of power to break free. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56378" first="Ryan" last="Healy"]</strong>- West Central Healy was a good primary back in the read option offense, ran the ball with lots of power and protected the football in traffic. He dragged defenders on every play that they did not get in front of him, when he broke loose, he showed some speed to break big gains.
