The Shiloh Christian Saints winning state championships have become almost routine, however it is anything but routine. Shiloh Christian went to Little Rock in search of the eighth state championship in the school’s history. The Saints had been an impressive all season and would lock up another state championship.
The Saints would matchup with Rivercrest and do everything senior [player_tooltip player_id="74969" first="Kam" last="Turner"]. Shiloh Christian would jump out to a 35-13 lead in the first half and not look back. Shiloh Christian quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="75133" first="Eli" last="Wisdom"] had a terrific game. Wisdom had been solid all season and his solid play would continue into the state championship game.
Closing out the game, Wisdom would have 349 yards of total offense in the title game. The six touchdowns that he accounted for in the game is even more impressive. However, Shiloh Christian was a loaded football team this season. The Saints have a talented linebacker in [player_tooltip player_id="75093" first="Kaden" last="Henley"] and an impressive running back [player_tooltip player_id="75023" first="Cam" last="Wiedemann"] who had excellent season.
Shiloh Christian would close out the game defeating Rivercrest 58-20. The Saints are a talented team and will likely be competing for another state championship next season. Over the years, it seems that the Saints do not ever have to rebuild, they reload. A great deal of credit must be given to coach Jeff Conaway and his staff. The Saints are on a roll and it will be interesting to see the Saints continue the run that they have been on over the past few years.
