The state playoffs bring out the best in the amazing talent we have here in Florida. With standouts such as Nolin Eaddy (Kissimmee Osceola), Davion Gause (Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna), Johnquavis Jones (Hawthorne), Kaleb Killian (Jacksonville Trinity Christian – PICTURED) and Junior Vandeross (Tampa Jesuit), the next week is going to be something to see.
One more week until the state football championships are held at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.
In what has been a crazy season for everyone, we are headed for a different look at the state championship games this season. New teams will make their way to Tallahassee for all eight state title games.

Today, we bring you five more football prospects who have been shining in the post season.
<strong>2021 - Nolin Eaddy , LB, Kissimmee Osceola. </strong>Talk about one of your under the radar athletes. This impressive football talent that has speed, athletic ability and a nose for the ball. Watch him play and you are sold. His motor never stops. Has been a huge catalyst for the Kowboys in the post season. In addition, he is also one of the top wrestlers in the state.

<strong>2024 - Davion Gause, RB, Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna. </strong>While the future for this young man was to be very bright, he began to show that talent this season as the Lions now head to the state championships for the fifth year. Showed early in the season that having a player like<strong> Thad Franklin </strong>is great, but when you have someone like this freshman who is ready to step in at any time, it made this season so much easier for head coach <strong>Dameon Jones</strong> and this three-time defending state champions.

<strong>2021 - Johnquavis Jones, WR, Hawthorne. </strong>Not the biggest player on the field, but watch him perform and you will see that he does the things that gets teams like Hawthorne to a state title game. His ability to run and make key catches is why this is yet another post-season standout. In the win over three-time defending 1A state champion Madison County helped the Hornets pull the upset.

<strong>2021 - </strong><strong>Kaleb Killian, RB, Jacksonville Trinity Christian. </strong>In a season where this team turned up the volume, it was prospects like this young man who found a way to lift head coach Verlon Dorminey and the Conquerors. In the vital game against Ocala Trinity Catholic, the senior rushed for 174 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 56-33 win.

<strong>Junior Vandeross, Athlete, Tampa Jesuit. </strong>If you wonder why programs such as this Tigers advance in the playoffs, it’s talented young men like who are behind it. No matter where you put him, he is going to get it done. Running back, corner back or at receiver like the game against Orlando Jones where he had 11 catches for 238 yards. Just a junior, this is truly someone who needs to be on your radar.
