GA
– (Leader in Passing) Prince Avenue
While many people may have expected Vandagriff to have jumped to a statistical lead within the state earlier in the season, he still finds himself atop the rankings at this point. It’s better late than never for Brock, as he has accumulated around 3,342 passing yards so far this season, and is poised to take on Eagle’s Landing this upcoming Friday. Not only has he put his team in a place to make a run in the playoffs, but he also is looking ahead to bigger things, as he is committed to play football at Georgia next season. Look for Brock’s stats to continue to grow even more as he advances throughout the playoffs.
Amehre Morrison- (Leader in Rushing and Total Points) River Ridge High
Amehre Morrison, a 2022 prospect who plays for River Ridge High has managed to top two statistical categories throughout the state of Georgia. To start, he leads the state with 1,832 rushing yards, dominating the ground game for his team. With this, he also leads the state in total points as he has racked up 168 points for his team. Due to the fact that he has continued to carry his team, it should come as no surprise that River Ridge is still in the playoffs, and is looking to advance past Lee County in the next round.
LT Overton- (Leader in Sacks) Milton High
Overton, who has proven to dominate in his statistical category of sacks throughout Georgia, has managed to total 21 sacks to this point of the season. What is even more impressive about this is the fact that he is doing so as a 2023 prospect, and has been receiving plenty of power 5 offers this season. Schools that have offered Overton include that of Michigan State, Florida State, Arkansas, and LSU. Not only will Overton be continuing to contribute to his team’s success due to the fact that they are in the playoffs, but he will also be looking to add to his sack total when competing against one of the best teams in the state- Lowndes.
Conor Cummins- (Leader in Field Goals) Walton High
Conor Cummins, who is not known by many of those who follow high school football, leads the entire state in field goals, as has gone 13 for 17. While his season came to an end last weekend against Colquitt, his statistical success is still worth noting due to the fact that he had such a high level of success this season. Cummins, who was a senior this season, has not accepted any notable offers, but has had plenty of success at at the Kohls kicking camps in the past.
