One of New Jersey’s top players and standout running backs is headed to South Bend.
St. Joseph of Montvale running back and four-star recruit [player_tooltip player_id="27865" first="Audric" last="Estime"] flipped his commitment from Michigan State and will officially be headed to Notre Dame, he announced on Twitter on Friday.

Estime put up an incredible season with St. Joseph, leading to an offer from the Fighting Irish earlier in the week. While Michigan State won him over earlier in the process, Notre Dame got more involved in recent months after Estime continued to impress this season against some of the state’s top teams.
Michigan State did receive an official commitment from [player_tooltip player_id="27863" first="Geno" last="VanDeMark"], an offensive lineman who played with Estime at St. Joseph and is considered one of the top linemen in the state.
Notre Dame put an emphasis on Estime and his size and strength. The Irish made it known that the St. Joseph star will be the team’s featured running back in the future, and he’ll have his chance to shine in South Bend with his physical style of play in the backfield. He runs with the authority and has great speed for his size.
