There are some impressive football games across the Sunshine State this evening, but none have the spotlight that unbeatens Tampa Jesuit and Orlando Jones have.
Here are two programs who have been in the playoff mix for the past few years – and improve every year.
<img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-78400" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2020/12/OntheSideline-Logo-3-300x188.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="188" />Jesuit was knocked out by the same Miami Northwestern team that beat Jones in the 5A state playoffs last December in Daytona Beach.
Both team are well coached. They have athletes on both sides of the ball – and each has run that gauntlet during this crazy season – Tampa Jesuit getting three more games in.
<strong>HOW THE FIGHTIN’ TIGERS GOT TO 9-0</strong>
Wins against Orlando Bishop Moore (32-26), Orlando Lake Nona (49-10), Apopka (22-21), Wekiva (42-41 OT), Orlando Edgewater (21-13) and West Orange (38-21) in the regular season – and Tampa Robinson (forfeit), Brooksville Hernando (39-0) and Zephyrhills (32-0) in the playoffs have fueled this program.
