All of these prospects are being hindered by the pandemic and how it’s affected recruiting as a whole. A lot of these prospects don’t get the attention of their peers. These players are high-level college prospects and had great seasons this year. Every one of these players is severely under-recruited. At Prep Redzone Florida, our mission is to get players like this promoted and seen!
Chris Phillips RB- Boca Ciega
5’9 168lbs
Phillips is rated a three-star running back. He ended his senior season rushing for 474 yards and 3 touchdowns. He’s a three-down back that also has 14 catches for 211 yards and three receiving touchdowns. He’s a quick-twitch athlete that has top end speed, acceleration, agility, and excellent balance. Phillips has over 14 offers, including power 5 offers from Iowa State University and USF.

David Wright QB- Tampa Bay Tech
5’10 190lbs
Wright finished off his stellar career leading the State of Florida in passing after throwing for 3078 yards and 34 touchdowns! For his career he passed for 6602 yards and 68 touchdowns, he’s an extremely underrated recruit that’s still available. Wright is very smart and fearless in the pocket; he reads coverages well and is accurate in delivering the ball. Throws the back-shoulder pass as good as anyone in the state. He has really good timing and ball placement that allows his Trio of outstanding receivers to make plays without slowing down. Currently holds offers from Iowa Western and Edward Waters College.

Joe Brunson RB-Baker High
5’11 185lbs
Brunson had an outstanding senior season leading the State of Florida in rushing with 2460 yards and 27 touchdowns! He’s one of the most dynamic running backs in the state and is extremely under-recruited. It’s baffling to me that this kid isn’t one of the most sought-after running back prospects in Florida. He has outstanding vision, shows great patience reading the hole with exceptional cut-back ability, and has the speed to hit the home run. Shows natural hands when catching the ball. Also plays strong safety and is a legit prospect on that side of the football as well. This kid is one of the best football players I’ve seen on film this season. Whatever coach is smart enough to jump on him first will be getting an absolute steal!

Nate Mikell QB- Wildwood
6’3 170lbs
Mikell finish sixth in the State of Florida and passing yards with 2475 yards and 16 touchdowns and also adding 371 yards on the ground and five touchdowns; he is a dual-threat quarterback that has a lot of speed (4.52), he does a really good job placing the ball away from the defender, I believe Mikell’s biggest asset is throwing on the run, he uses his athleticism to extend plays while keeping his eyes downfield. He reads coverages well and shows good timing, accuracy, and zip on short and intermediate passes. He currently holds one D1 offer from Stetson University.

Mack Marrone LB- Bolles School
6’0 208lbs
Marrone is a really good all-around athletic linebacker prospect that is still available, he runs really well, he does a good job in pass coverage and make plays on the ball in the air. Marrone had an outstanding senior season registering 144 tackles, three sacks, two interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles. He diagnoses plays quickly and is constantly attacking downhill. Does a good job slipping blocks and getting to the ball. He is a very smart linebacker on and off the field that has a 4.3 GPA, he currently holds offers from Davidson College, Lehigh University, and Colgate University.
