All of these prospects are being hindered by the pandemic and how it’s affected recruiting as a whole. A lot of these prospects don’t get the attention of their peers. These players are high-level college prospects and had great seasons this year. Every one of these players is severely under-recruited. At Prep Redzone Florida, our mission is to get players like this promoted and seen!
David Wright QB- Tampa Bay Tech
5’10 190lbs
Wright finished off his stellar career leading the State of Florida in passing after throwing for 3078 yards and 34 touchdowns! For his career he passed for 6602 yards and 68 touchdowns, he’s an extremely underrated recruit that’s still available. Wright is very smart and fearless in the pocket; he reads coverages well and is accurate in delivering the ball. Throws the back-shoulder pass as good as anyone in the state. He has really good timing and ball placement that allows his Trio of outstanding receivers to make plays without slowing down. Currently holds offers from Iowa Western and Edward Waters College.
Nate Mikell QB- Wildwood
6’3 170lbs
Mikell finish sixth in the State of Florida and passing yards with 2475 yards and 16 touchdowns and also adding 371 yards on the ground and five touchdowns; he is a dual-threat quarterback that has a lot of speed (4.52), he does a really good job placing the ball away from the defender, I believe Mikell’s biggest asset is throwing on the run, he uses his athleticism to extend plays while keeping his eyes downfield. He reads coverages well and shows good timing, accuracy, and zip on short and intermediate passes. He currently holds one D1 offer from Stetson University.

DJ Arroyo- Cocoa
6’0 180lbs
Arroyo is a very good college that led Cocoa to a 10-1 season; he has advanced footwork and mechanics, and has a smooth throwing motion. Shows elite touch, accuracy, and ball placement. Reads coverages fast and knows where to go with the ball. He completed 76% of his passes this season! He passed for 2708 yards and 21 touchdowns this season. He holds several offers including an offer from University of Kentucky.

Cade Ross-Eau Gallie
6’0 170lbs
Ross had a fantastic senior season leading the region in passing yards with 2694 and 27 touchdowns, he has outstanding arm talent, and is very accurate at all three levels of the field, has a compact delivery and quick release. Currently holds offers from Eastern Michigan, Troy, and UT Martin.

Trey Wainwright- Niceville
5’10 180lbs
Wainwright comes in at number five in the state in passing yards with 2752 yards and 34 touchdowns. He’s a fantastic athlete that is also a really good baseball player. He throws a very nice catchable ball with great touch and anticipation, he’s very smart, does a good job picking his spots to take chances, and reads the field well. He led Niceville to a 11-1 record and a spot in the state playoffs. He currently has two offers: Lyon College and Manchester University.

Tre Simmons- Bloomingdale
6’1 178lbs
Simmons led Bloomingdale to one of its best seasons ever in school history. He passed for 2490 yards and 27 touchdowns this season, he’s a dual-threat quarterback that is fearless standing in the pocket and is willing to take a hit and deliver strikes down the field. He’s very instinctive and shows the ability to big-time and extend plays with his feet. He currently holds one offer from Chadron State College.
Ty’Quan Wiggins- Mount Dora
6’4 215lbs
Wiggins led the Sunshine State Athletic Conference in passing this season throwing for 2404 yards and 27 touchdowns. He’s also added another 269 yards and 4 touchdowns on the ground. He’s got great size for the quarterback position, has a live arm and athleticism.
Ezra Brennan, QB- JW Mitchell
6’0 170lbs
Brennan is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in Pasco County and in the state. He is extremely accurate, outstanding ball placement, show great ability reading coverages, and knows where to go with the ball quickly. Has a deft touch on deep balls, and is a really good runner, showing vision, quickness, and the ability to extend plays. Brennan guided Mitchell to a Historic season with 11-1 record and a quarter final playoff appearance this season. Brennan passed for 2283 yards and 36 touchdowns this season while completing 63% of his passes with a 127.3 QB rating!

Sam Edwards- St. Augustine
6’2 180lbs
Edwards is a dual-threat quarterback that led Powerhouse St. Augustine to a 10-3 record and a spot in the state semifinals. This season he threw for 2233 yards and 21 touchdowns and has rushed for 551 yards and six touchdowns. He’s an athletic quarterback that gets the ball out of his hands quickly on short route, and has arm strength and touch to be to beat you deep as well. He currently holds offers from Monmouth College, Mount Union, and Depauw.

Jacob Azizi- Bishop Verot
6’2 185lbs
Azizi is a dual-threat prospect that is very adept at running the zone-read offense. He’s got arm strength to throw go routes and deep posts, he posses a nice touch allowing his receivers to run underneath the ball. As a runner he has great speed and elusiveness. He passed for 2178 yards, 18 touchdowns and rushed 163 yards this season.
