TALLAHASSEE – While the record may not reflect it, but in Baker’s 14 wins and no losses, there were many learning moments.
While it took a huge 152 yard effort from Kayleb Wagner to spark the team, it was the little things that gave this program a much-deserved state championship.

Coaching his son, who was the catalyst of this team all year, and capping it off with a state title.
So, Brunson and this team have finally given this Panhandle city something that is truly perfect!

It was all made possible by a 55-yard run by Walker, who brought inside the five.

Walker continued to make life tough on the Hornets – with an 8-yard run with 5:33 left in the game and a 27-8 advantage.
Hawthorne finished the scoring late in the fourth quarter when Camren Cohens took a short pass from Mackey, but it wouldn’t be enough.
