Gainesville Eastside transfer <strong>Arnold Strachan</strong> came up with an interception that led to a 12-yard scoring run by sophomore <strong>Kyree Edwards</strong> in a 37-7 win by Gainesville.
<strong>Trey Wainwright</strong> threw the ball just 16 times, yet he piled up a school-record 336 passing yards and five touchdowns. Following a 10-0 regular season last year, Niceville capped off a 7-0 regular season with a 42-7 win at Pace
Senior <strong>Jason Deal</strong> connecting with junior <strong>Trenton Hall</strong> for a touchdown that sparked Navarre (6-0) to a 30-13 win. Hall would later catch a second touchdown from senior quarterback <strong>Zach Marquis</strong>.
Junior running back <strong>Kenon Bell</strong> scored a season-high three touchdowns as Tenoroc rolled over Lake Region. Junior <strong>DJ Williams</strong> scored two more touchdowns, and sophomore <strong>Kris Hunter</strong> had another.
Lake Gibson won a thrilling 34-27 decision over Winter Haven on a 63-yard touchdown strike from <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50149" first="Logan" last="Hackett"] </strong>to <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="49990" first="Sam" last="McCall"]</strong>. Hackett finished the game 15 of 22 for 241 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
Bartow (8-0) quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50157" first="Lin" last="Johnson"]</strong> threw just six passes in the first half, completing three, and all three completions went for touchdowns. In a 42-10 win over rival Lake Wales.
Lakeland Christian scored early and often on its way to a convincing 49-7 win as touchdown runs from <strong>Ben Oxendine </strong>(53 yards), <strong>Dre Hudson</strong> (1 yard), and <strong>Cori Davis </strong>(9 yards) sparked the team.
Davenport Ridge Community senior running back <strong>Beau Herrington</strong>, who went over the 1,000-yard mark for the season in only six games, rushed for 259 yards and three touchdowns, including a season-long 75-yard touchdown on the last play of the game in a win.
Pensacola Booker T. Washington football earned their first playoff win since 2006, defeating Milton 29-20. Sparked by the final score of the game, a remarkable reverse flea flicker that resulted in a 20-yard touchdown pass from <strong>Ammiel Steele</strong> to <strong>Greg Bullard.</strong>
Bradenton Southeast senior quarterback <strong>Maleek Huggins</strong> scampered 13 yards for the score and <strong>Carlos Aragon</strong> added the all-important extra point for a one-point lead and what turned out to be a 25-24 upset victory over previously unbeaten Manatee.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32845" first="Steffan" last="Johnson"]</strong> scored twice on the ground and finished with a game-high 167 rushing yards, including a long run of 70 yards in the first half to lead Venice to a win
Getting two touchdown passes from quarterback <strong>Ryan Browne</strong> to wide receiver <strong>Jaron Glover</strong>, Sarasota Riverview came away with a win over Sarasota.
Florida High (7-0) opened the playoffs as the offense evenly distributed the wealth as six players cracked the end zone. The bulk of the points came on the ground. <strong>Dohntay Williams</strong> and <strong>Jalon Carter</strong> each had two rushing touchdowns.
Two <strong>Marcus Peterson</strong> touchdowns helped break open a tight game for Lake City Columbia in a win.
<strong>Ty Baxter</strong> finished the night with 73 yards rushing, while <strong>Aaron Wynn</strong> added another 77 yards on 12 carries and a TD as St. Augustine (6-2) rolled. Quarterback <strong>Sammy Edwards</strong> completed 10 of 11 pass attempts for 134 yards.
<strong>Conner Nobles</strong> rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns as the West Nassau Warriors closed their regular season on a winning note. <strong>Chaz Davis</strong> also scored twice with 168 all-purpose yards.
<strong>Jaheim Odom</strong> returned an interception for a touchdown to spark the Jacksonville Atlantic Coast Stingrays. <strong>Arthur Walker</strong> rushed for two touchdowns to lead the ground assault.
Oakleaf wide receiver <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32797" first="Terrance" last="Anthony"]</strong> scored three touchdowns with 210 receiving yards to knock off unbeaten Clay.
Creekside forced four forced turnovers in beating Ponte Vedra. <strong>Tucker Owens, [player_tooltip player_id="32900" first="Luther" last="McCoy"], Logan Kilgore,</strong> and<strong> Carter McEachean</strong> had fumble recoveries.
Jacksonville Episcopal junior running back <strong>Ershod Jasey</strong> tallied 71 rushing yards, picking up three of his team’s six touchdowns on the ground in a win.
Ocala Forest tailback <strong>Antonio Crim Jr.,</strong> scored four touchdowns in a win.
Quarterback <strong>Joe Pesansky</strong> helped make it look just like the previous 20, throwing for nearly 200 yards and scoring a late touchdown to lead Tampa Jesuit to a 35-21 victory over Tampa Catholic.
Tampa Hillsborough needed a spark and got one from junior athlete <strong>Jordaan Bailey</strong>, who amassed 213 yards from scrimmage in a win over Plant City.
Sparked by the play of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32727" first="Jaxson" last="Rivera"]</strong> and senior <strong>Tre Gallimore</strong>, Zephyrhills won the 63rd edition of the 9-Mile War with Dade City Pasco.
Orlando Edgewater senior quarterback <strong>Canaan Mobley</strong> finished 8-of-15 passing for 298 yards and four touchdowns while adding 63 yards rushing in a .37-20 win over Boone.
<strong>Ayron Rodriguez</strong> ran for 84 yards on 11 carries and one touchdown in one half, and <strong>Jake Ritts</strong> and <strong>Aiden Warner</strong> led Winter Park’s backups to four second-half touchdowns in a win.
With just 57 seconds to go before halftime and the teams locked in a 7-7 battle, Wekiva’s <strong>Tamareon Foster</strong> broke through and blocked Apopka’s punt, and teammate <strong>Luther Johnson</strong> returned it 12 yards for the win.
Altamonte Springs Lake Brantley (5-3) won 35-3 at home against Harmony (3-4). The Patriots’ scoring included a 37-yard TD run by UCF commit <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32796" first="Anthony" last="Williams"].</strong>
Orlando Timber Creek sophomore <strong>Luke Johnson</strong> threw three touchdown passes in a win. Another sophomore QB, <strong>Tre Woodson</strong>, came on and connected with junior wideout <strong>Ethan Varnedore </strong>for a 95-yard touchdown play.
<strong>Lamont Harding</strong> scored on a scoop-and-score fumble return for a touchdown as DeLand rebounded with a win over Daytona Beach Seabreeze.
Pembroke Pines Somerset junior QB <strong>Aaron Parsons</strong> threw for 138 yards and 3 total TDs in a win.
Coconut Creek Monarch junior QB <strong>Bryan Lodge</strong> accounted for 5 TDs in a win.
