Goodman has not played this year as he recovers from a 2019 injury. App State still pursued him and got his pledge despite the uncertainty but that should not be a surprise because App is known to always stick by an injured player.

[player_tooltip player_id="59340" first="Undre" last="Lindsay"], Gaffney, 6’3, 200

This is the first change in our quarterback ratings as Lindsay moves from #3 to #2 because of his solid play and the results for Smith this year. Lindsay has 1,189 yards with 13 touchdowns through six games this year. He also leads the team with 159 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. The Gaffney product is also a very good basketball player who was picked as the Region III-5A Preseason Player of the Year on the hardwood. He is still committed to the Howard Bison.

[player_tooltip player_id="59389" first="Marshall" last="Skoloff"], Eastside, 6’1, 190

In the preseason we had Skoloff ranked a few spots lower but he has earned a spot in the top five in this update. Skoloff is #2 in the state in passing yards per game with 313.4 through seven games. Skoloff has thrown for 2,194 yards and 18 touchdowns with just six interceptions on the season. His footwork and speed make him a dual threat passer with good accuracy. He has committed to Stetson since our first rankings.
