Santa Clarita was home to the third stop by the National Preps Collegiate Showcase team and the talent on both sides of the ball, hailing from all over the golden state and even across the country, did not disappoint. There was a wide range of college caliber players ranging from 5-star prospects, 4-star prospects and countless 3-star prospects, along with other college prospect hopefuls. With over 450 athletes in attendance, here is a break down of some of the top offensive players that were at the showcase and proved why they hold power five offers and are ranked as some of the top players in the state, and even the country.

Currently ranked as a 5-Star prospect and checking in as the #2 RB in the 2022 class, the National Preps Showcase overall MVP flashed right away and proved why he is one of the most coveted recruits in the entire country. Brown tested extremely well and ran a 4.41 verified 40 yard dash and flashed his combination of short area quickness, explosiveness and lateral agility in a number of drills through out the entire day. Currently holding 30+ Power Five offers, Brown is looking to have another electric season for the Monarchs, which will be his first with the program after transferring from Edison High School in Stockton where he played his first two years of high school football.

The 2022 4-Star prospect shined through out the entire showcase and displayed his versatility as a big bodied pass catcher and overall athlete while proving why he is one of the top overall two-way athletes in the entire country for the 2022 class. Boardingham clocked in a verified 40 time of 4.68, which is rare for an athlete his size and further explains why he currently holds 5+ power five offers going into his Junior season. A long striding and rangy athlete, Arlis showed his huge catch radius, ability to sink his hips and change direction in and out of his breaks and his natural pass catching ability through out the entire showcase. A two-way star for Birmingham High School, he should see over a dozen more power five offers roll in as he finishes up the last two years of high school career.

Currently ranked as the #15 APB in the country, the 2021 prospect showed his explosiveness, lateral movement ability and short area quickness/pass catching ability in a number of drills and verified testing. Clocking in at a verified sub 4.6 40 yard-dash and flashing his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield with strong hands and good body control, Arceneaux showed why he has offers from both the Mountain West and Pac-12 Conferences and holds over 12+ total offers going into his final season the Lawndale.

The 2021 Jackson State commit did not disappoint while performing in Santa Clarita at the National Preps Showcase. Currently holding 12+ division 1 offers from major conferences like the Mountain West and Big Ten, the Lincoln HS product displayed why he is one of the most dynamic playmakers in the entire state for one of the top teams. Clocking in a 4.61 verified 40-yard dash, Smith also displayed his ability to move fluidly in space and effortlessly catch and track the ball. During his Junior season, Smith flashed his ability to make big plays on both sides of the ball and plays with a high football IQ and good physicality and natural instincts. Heading to go and suit up for Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders at Jackson State, Smith will look to make an immediate impact for the HBCU.

One of the highest rated recruits in the entire country in the 2023 class, McVay made the trip across the country to showcase his talents in Santa Clarita, and did not disappoint. The East St. Louis High School product immediately passed the eye test standing at 6’7" and 345 Ibs with a 85 inch wingspan. This rare combination of size and length has landed McVay six offers from the likes of Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss among other power five programs all during his Freshman year of high school. The rising Sophomore displayed good athleticism, body control and natural bend through the individual drills and is a true technician in the trenches. Athletic enough to block both in the box and in space, he will have 30+ power five offers by the time he is done with his prep career and will look to become a National Recruit.
