As teams dwindle down and the state playoffs move on to yet another round, prospects across Florida are starting to showcase skills that were hidden during much of this pandemic. As many football teams around the state – have their collective eyes on Tallahassee – the site of this year’s state championships in early December, this past weekend brought the best out in so many players, who came up with plays that helped their teams move on to the next level. As we head toward the next round, here is a look back at some of the players who turned heads and made a difference. Junior defensive back Earl Little Jr. came up with a crucial interception in the closing minutes to lead Plantation American Heritage to a 12-3 win over three-time defending state champion Miami Northwestern.
