There are two main contests to watch out for this Thanksgiving week, but there are plenty of players to watch as well. Check out who to watch. 1. Cedar Park vs Pflugerville (Wednesday at 12 p.m.)

[player_tooltip player_id="60485" first="Ryder" last="Hernandez"] (CP) - The senior quarterback is always one to watch and it is not just because of his stellar numbers this year, but because he has yet to throw an interception. Pflugerville is a good team this year, and could potentially break that streak if the conditions are right, but the fact also is Hernandez can ball, and he will look to put up big numbers in this district game.

Elijah Oakman (P) - The junior running back, alongside his teammate sophomore running back Jake Iloka, has been the main driving force of Pflugerville’s offense. If the Panthers hope to end Cedar Park’s undefeated streak, they will have to rely on the footwork of both of these backs. However, Oakman has a slight edge in the yards division, having 740 yards compared to Iloka’s 672, but both athletes have nine touchdowns apiece. The Timberwolves have an excellent defense, but they may not be able to contain both of these backs for long.

Hunter Hewitt (CP) - the senior defensive lineman is one of a few "Black Rain" members that have recorded multiple sacks on the season. Hewitt, alongside junior defensive lineman Ian Ferguson, has seven sacks this season. Hewitt also has 15 hurries, showing just how disruptive he is. Both Hewitt and Ferguson record around one sack per game, but even if the Pflugerville offensive line can hold the Black Rain, there will still likely be disruption on the part of the Timberwolves.

2. Bowie vs Hays (Friday at 7:30 p.m.)

Noah Camacho (B) - Representing the running game for the Bulldogs, Camacho totals 558 rushing yards and three touchdowns this season, but if push comes to shove, could be a key player if things came down to the wire. Simply put, if Hays is able to contain junior quarterback Diego Tello both in passing and rushing, then the Bulldogs will lean on Camacho to score. The junior running back has been held back a couple of games this year, but has proven to explode when necessary, so he is one to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id="60525" first="Bryant" last="Lewis"] (H) - Lewis has emerged as senior quarterback Durand Hill’s favorite target on the Rebels’ receiving corps. Lewis has 26 receptions for 539 yards and five touchdowns on the season. The senior wide receiver has had some big games this season, including a 143-yard and two-touchdown performance against Lake Travis on Oct. 16, so Lewis has the potential to become explosive in games that end up being shootouts, and sure enough, the conditions favor such a contest as Bowie’s Tello likes to sling it.

Tyson Hatnnot (H) - The senior defensive back has had a couple of interceptions this season, one against Akins and one against Austin a couple of weeks ago, so, given the conditions for a possible shootout, Hatnnot along with the Hays secondary will be leaned on to get those interceptions against Tello. The Bulldog quarterback has struggled against the likes of Del Valle and Westlake, so the secondary of Hays will likely be watching those contests to put guys like Hatnnot in the right spot to cause a turnover.
