Playoff Preview: Viera vs. Sunlake

<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong><em>Matchup: Viera (4-3) vs. Sunlake  (2-5)</em></strong></span></p> &nbsp; With the playoffs kicking in I wanted to take a look at the Viera vs. Sun Lake Playoff play-in matchup. Viera is one of the better teams in Brevard County and annually is a playoff contender on the East Coast. Viera is a very  balanced team that averages 227yds through the air and 125yds on the ground. Viera’s defense is very good holding opponents to 17 points a game, they also have a ferocious pass rush led by defensive end tandem [player_tooltip player_id="50004" first="Jamari" last="Lyons"] and Connor Nelson who both have 8 sacks a piece on the season. Viera ended the season with three straight losses, we’ll see how they bounce back now that the playoffs are kicking off. Sunlake has a proud playoff tradition, but has struggled in recent seasons. Sunlake will rely on the arm and legs of quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="50175" first="Kevin" last="Spillane"] who alone averages 156.8 yards a game of offense. But, he’s going to need some help from his offensive line and some key role players like David Ramos who leads the team with 25 catches for 262 receiving yards.
