Penn State’s 2021 recruiting class is nothing to sneeze at by any means. So far they’ve managed to land TE/WR [player_tooltip player_id="27196" first="Khalil" last="Dinkins"], QB/ATH Lonnie White, and K Sander Sahaydak, with plenty more to come as many seniors have yet to commit. However, Penn State is absolutely feasting on Pennsylvania’s junior class.
As of November 3rd, PSU has received hard commits from four of our top 20 junior prospects. An early emphasis has been made to secure offensive talent. Central York’s [player_tooltip player_id="27576" first="Beau" last="Pribula"] established himself early, committing before the season began in August. The 3-star dual-threat quarterback will have himself an outstanding cast to work with. The cast being 4-star offensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id="27555" first="Drew" last="Shelton"] out of Downingtown West HS and 4-star wideout [player_tooltip player_id="27566" first="Anthony" last="Ivey"] out of Manheim Township. Ivey was on PSU’s radar for some time, having offered Ivey as a sophomore.
The defensive side of the football was not to be forgotten either. [player_tooltip player_id="27559" first="Ken" last="Talley"], an uber-athletic defensive end out of Northeast HS in Philadelphia, will also be headed to Happy Valley and is expected to be joined by a flurry of defensive talent in his class as well. Penn State has offered or is featured in top 10 lists for the following ’22 prospects: DE [player_tooltip player_id="27553" first="Enai" last="White"], DE [player_tooltip player_id="27563" first="Keon" last="Wylie"], LB [player_tooltip player_id="27556" first="Abdul" last="Carter"], and LB [player_tooltip player_id="27562" first="Anthony" last="Johnson"].
