Blue Earth Overpowers Pipestone for Big Win
Friday night the Blue Earth Buccaneers hosted the Pipestone Area Arrows in a Big South Conference game. The Buccaneers returned nearly their whole starting lineup from last season, in that lineup was a lot of speed and power across the board. After a pretty even 1st quarter, the experience and talent of Blue Earth took over the game and the scoreboard. Here is the scoring summary here:
1st Quarter:

3rd Quarter:
BEA: Gavin Storbeck 15 yard pass to Ashton Lloyd, PAT Good, 42-0 BEA.
4th Quarter:
PAS: Kellan Johnson 14 yard pass to Maddox Biever, PAT No Good, 42-6 BEA.
PAS: Austin Johnson 1 yard rush, PAT Good 42-13 BEA.
Players Highlighted from Blue Earth:
WR/DB- Cameron Anderson played well in every facet of the game, speedy routes, good hands, dished out contact, good in returns and played well in coverage.
QB- Gavin Storbeck made a lot of good throws, ran the ball well in the option, and made good decisions whether to run or throw.
RB- Cole Warmka ran the ball hard, breaking tackles and finishing hard runs by falling forward.
OL- Luke Mertens, Nick Frank, Kean Hicks, Luke Norman, & Vern Johnson– controlled the line of scrimmage the whole night, opening wide seams and giving the QB lots of time to throw.
Players Highlighted from Pipestone:
WR/DB- Kaden Musch did a good job in run-support making some tackles on the perimeter.
RB/LB- Cole Paulson had another solid week tackling wise. He was also able to shake off some big blockers and find the ball.
WR/DB- Maddox Biever was a reliable target in the pass game with some good routes and made some TD-saving tackles defensively.
WR/DB- Ty Hansen was a good yardage receiver making the catch for some key yardage. Defensively, made a few good perimeter tackles as well.
