The tight end position has evolved over the past couple of years, from what was considered an "extra" offensive lineman. He displays the ability to block well in space does not get overextended, and drives out the defender with good base and balance.

The Illinois State commit displays a natural feel for route running, he makes quick hard cuts to transition in and out of his breaks to create separation from coverage and make key plays. A traditional "inline" tight end, he demonstrates the ability to seal off second-level defenders and be a consistent blocker in the run game.

He demonstrates the ability and willingness to lock onto defenders and drive them with good leverage and hand placement in the run game.

A tall athletic tight end that explodes off the ball and is a tenacious blocker in the run game.
