You try and rationalize why the NCAA, during a period where high school seniors – and even juniors – need them to watch LIVE and see what they bring to the table.
Maybe it’s us, and we are not getting something, but it’s not. Someone who is thinking outside the box would certainly understand that this is when the athletes and college coaches should be communicating and seeing one another so they can fully evaluate. It has been over a year since college coaches (NCAA D1) have watched these current seniors and juniors.
Anyway, that’s why we are here – and that is the reason we have been assisting for over 50 years and will continue to promote and expose these student/athletes.
As we have done since July – we are bringing you teams and athletes who have more than impact the crazy and unpredictable 2020 season. Today, we have five under-the-radar prospects.
2022 – Johnny Crawford III, Athlete, Moore Haven. One of those prospects that every team needs to have. Someone who will play just about anywhere, and he certainly has. Receiver, defensive back or running back, where he had 34 carries for 296 yards and two touchdowns in a win this season.

2021 – Julian Del Castillo, PK, Flagler Palm Coast. When it comes to special teams players – such as kickers, punters and long snappers, you never really talk about them – unless they miss a kick or a snap goes over someone’s head. But when you have reliable ones like this, who kicked three field goals of 38, 26, and 43 yards to help the Bulldogs upset three-time defending 1A state champion Madison County.

2021 – Tysan Robbins, QB Orlando Jones. One of the more underrated quarterbacks in the class – this is someone who is a producer. Puts up the numbers and displays the leadership when his team needs it most – when he went 15-of-28 for 273 yards and two touchdowns in a huge win over defending state 7A runner up Orlando Edgewater. Solid football player.

2022 – LaDamian Starks, RB, Hudson. One of the many underclassmen this team had during a state playoff year – and you can guarantee that it will truly pay off down the line for the youngster players. Showed his talents many times this season – and a 129-yard rushing performance with three touchdowns was vital in a win over Dunedin.

2022 – Mason Thomas, DE, Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons. When head coach Matt Dubuc said that his younger players would make an impact this season, he was right on target. This quality football talent has been huge for the Chiefs this season – like the big game he had with 10 tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack for a 28-yard loss, and returned a 15-yard interception as well as recover an onside kick in the Chiefs’ 17-10 upset win over nationally-ranked St. Thomas Aquinas.
