What has become a very popular feature for <strong><em>Prep Redzone Florida </em></strong>readers every Monday continues to spotlight top performers across the state.

As coaches, parents and athletes shine a spotlight on the amazing football talent we have here in the Sunshine State, we are very happy to bring them to you – and we have several more this week.
Check out these quality football players from Week 5:
Englewood Lemon Bay RB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50304" first="Jason" last="Hogan"]</strong> is by far one of the biggest stories this season. He ran for six touchdowns in a 42-0 win against Naples St. John Neumann. Hogan scored three times in each half as the Mantas took the lead on their opening drive and never looked back. His first-half scoring runs came from 18, 5, and 9 yards out and the senior running back added 8, 10, and 2 yards scoring runs in the second half. Hogan finished with 131 yards on 19 carries.
St. Petersburg Northside Christian RB <strong>James Flourney</strong> had 25 carries for 316 yards and 2 TDS.
Running back <strong>Nick Marzicola</strong> from New Port Richey River Ridge had 19 carries for 150 yards and a TD.
Pensacola Escambia defensive back <strong>Hershell Jefferson</strong> had two interceptions in a thrilling, 28-20 win at Pensacola Washington.
Milton QB <strong>Tyler Buchanan</strong> threw 4 touchdown passes – including 3 to WR <strong>Raymond Cottrell </strong>in a 42-14 win over Gulf Breeze.
The senior running back trio of <strong>Jaheim Simmons, KB Johnson</strong> and <strong>Keon Johnson </strong>produced four combined rushing touchdowns to power Pensacola West Florida over Pensacola Catholic. Simmons – the single-season rushing record-holder at West Florida – had 149 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries.<strong> </strong>
<strong>Dominic Annichiarico’s</strong> three touchdowns and <strong>Azareyeh Thomas’ </strong>two stiff-arm scores powered Niceville to a 54-14 win over Crestview. Niceville racked up 447 yards (242 rushing, 205 rushing), had five different players score and punted only once.
American Heritage junior defensive end <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="49989" first="Marvin" last="Jones Jr"]. </strong>dashed toward the end zone for the game’s first points and the Patriots went on to beat Bartram Trail, 35-10.
<strong>Scooby Graham</strong> used the blocking of offensive lineman <strong>Damontae Gibson</strong> as Baker County rolled past Westside, 35-6. Graham scored twice.
<strong>Bryce Tompkins</strong> completed touchdown passes to <strong>Ty Petty</strong> and <strong>Larry Worth</strong> as Baldwin (4-0) rallied from an early deficit for an 18-14 wi9n against 2A power Jacksonville University Christian.
Miami St. Brendan started off the season on the right foot – as <strong>Micheal Caldwell</strong> (6 tackles, 66 yard interception return for a touchdown), <strong>Isaac Brown</strong> (164 yards on 6 attempts 2 touchdowns), <strong>Richard Dandridge </strong>(65 yards 4 receptions 1 touchdown) and <strong>Javaris Jones</strong> (6 tackles 1 Sack / 68 yard TD reception). The Sabres beat Everglades Prep, 38-0.
Lake Brantley’s <strong>Koen Koller</strong> finished the game with 13 rushes for 164 yards and 2 TD as well as 46 passing yards and 2 TD passes!
<strong>Tywuan Lee</strong> rushed for two touchdowns as Hilliard beat Jacksonville Wolfson, 19-7, and move to 5-0 on the season.
<strong>Ronald Coleman’s</strong> kickoff return ignited Jacksonville Lee (3-0) to a 55-8 win against Middleburg. <strong>Maurice Heath </strong>scored on an interception return and <strong>Elijah Harris</strong> took a fumble back for a touchdown.
<strong>Xander Ross</strong> caught three touchdown passes from <strong>Ja’Cory Jordan </strong>in a decisive 42-6 win for the Jacksonville Trinity Christian Conquerors (2-1). <strong>Treyaun Webb</strong> also rushed for two scores.
<strong>Sean Evans</strong> returned a punt for a touchdown and picked off a pass and <strong>Freddie Manning III</strong> added a kickoff return touchdown, a receiving score and an interception on defense in Jacksonville Ribault’s 55-13 win against Yulee.
<strong>Cade Vaughn</strong> rushed for 238 yards and QB <strong>AJ Cortese</strong> went 14 of 22 for 162 yards for to lead Union County (3-1) to a 42-34 win against Hamilton County.
<strong>Jacob Dennie</strong> threw three touchdown passes, two to <strong>Hunter Hollis</strong> and one to Trey Rose as Jacksonville Christ Church (4-0) rolled to a 26-14 win over Bishop Snyder.
Hawthorne (3-0) overcame three turnovers, and got timely big plays from junior <strong>Camron Cohens</strong> in a win over Gainesville PK Yonge.
With injured running back <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50212" first="Daquan" last="Harris"]</strong> on the sideline, junior <strong>Stephen Sparrow</strong> ran for 210 yards and two touchdowns as Orlando Jones rolled over Lake Nona, 49-10.
<strong>Ayron Rodriguez</strong> had two rushing touchdowns and 78 rushing yards on 10 carries as Winter Park beat Hagerty, 44-3. In addition QB <strong>Jaden Machules</strong> found WR <strong>Walesa Charles</strong> from 89 yards out.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32923" first="Jaquan" last="Lowman"]</strong> rushed for two touchdowns and passed for a third as Apopka put on its best offensive showing of the young season in a 30-0 win against Lake Brantley.
Orlando Bishop Moore scored a 35-14 high school win at Tohopekaliga to give Hornets coach <strong>Matt Hedrick</strong> his 150th win at the school. Hedrick has compiled a record of 150-59 over 19 seasons.
Orlando Timber Creek improved to 3-0 with a 38-3 win at Colonial. <strong>Tanner Stevens</strong> passed for two TDs, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1821" first="Luke" last="Johnson"]</strong> threw another scoring strike, and <strong>Adrian Florez</strong> ran for two TDs.
Orlando East River (2-1) scored the go-ahead touchdown on an 88-yard pass play from sophomore quarterback <strong>Nick Miner</strong> to senior <strong>Dexter Coleman</strong> with 6:55 remaining and won 42-32 against visiting Lake Howell.
Oviedo quarterback <strong>Luke Rucker</strong> followed up his seven-touchdown game of last week with four more scoring passes in a 43-18 win over Orlando University. The sophomore completed 14 of 26 pass attempts for 171 yards as the Lions improved to 3-0.
Bloomingdale quarterback <strong>Tre Simmons</strong> completed 13 of 21 passes for 247 yards and four touchdowns, and rushed for a touchdown of 1 yard.as Bloomingdale beat Plant City, 37-20. The game had been a showdown between Bloomingdale’s <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32620" first="Agiye" last="Hall"]</strong> (committed to Alabama) and Plant City’s <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32614" first="Mario" last="Williams"]</strong> (committed to Oklahoma).
An interception by Tampa Hillsborough defensive back <strong>Dominic Reaves</strong> set up a booming 50-yard field goal from the leg of <strong>Zach Long</strong> to help the Terriers beat Jefferson, 17-13.
Quarterback <strong>Emery Floyd</strong> celebrated senior night with a pair of touchdown passes as Tampa Wharton stayed unbeaten with a 14-0 win over King. Junior WR <strong>Jason Cornwall </strong>caught a 51-yard scoring strike.
Coach <strong>Andy Schmitz</strong> and his Mitchell Mustangs (3-0) now has everyone’s attention. With a 35-0 win over Tarpon Springs East Lake, as sophomore <strong>Chris Ferrini</strong> came up with a 34-yard interception return for a score.
Freshman QB <strong>Eli Moore</strong>, Southwest Florida Christian Academy was 18 of 29 for 311 yards and 5 TD’s (all in the first half) in 55-28 win.
Merritt Island kicker <strong>Brady Denaburg</strong> booted a 57-yard field goal in a Mustangs’ win.
Miami Christian junior WR <strong>Keyshawn Renejuste</strong> 3 TDs (2 called back from penalty) 170 all purpose yards.
North Palm Beach Benjamin junior OL <strong>Mason Thomason</strong>: 7 pancakes & no sacks allowed in a 49-0 win over Archbishop McCarthy.
Senior <strong>Dylan Page</strong> from Avon Park had 4 Sacks, 17 Tackles and 2 Pass Breakups.
