Week 5 Game Preview: Chartiers Valley VS. Aliquippa

We have a great conference matchup between two undefeated teams in Chartiers Valley and Aliquippa on Friday, October 9th. For Aliquippa, it starts with their junior QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27695" first="Jabarhi" last="Cleckley"]</strong>. Jabarhi has a pretty good arm and is athletic. He has a 6-foot 5 307-pound offensive lineman in <strong>Paris Bundrige</strong> protecting him. Looks like Paris is playing center this year as he played tackle last season. In the backfield they got senior running back in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27495" first="Karl" last="McBride"]</strong>. Karl is undersized but has a thick body. He has some quickness with decent speed. Aliquippa has another running back in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27259" first="Vernon" last="Redd"]</strong>, who had 187 yards rushing and two touchdowns last week against Beaver. Chartiers Valley has a junior linebacker in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27630" first="Abraham" last="Ibrahim"]</strong>. He can be the guy to slow down the rushing attack. He shows quickness with good speed and change of direction who is a good tackler. They also have a couple of defensive backs in seniors <strong>Anthony Collura</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27280" first="Jordan" last="Demus"]</strong>. Anthony plays safety who has good size. He also has good speed and is a good tackler. Shows to be a ball hawk with good ball skills. Jordan plays corner. He has good speed to stay with receivers. Shows to have good hips.
Chartiers Valley also has a QB in junior <strong>Anthony Mackey</strong>. Anthony is undersized but very athletic which shows to have a pretty good arm. Aliquippa’s linebacker <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27248" first="Anthony" last="Jackson"]</strong> will have to contain Mackey. Anthony Mackey also has playmakers in <strong>Anthony Collura</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27280" first="Jordan" last="Demus"]</strong>. Anthony is used as a receiver and Jordan is used as a running back. Aliquippa has a couple of defensive backs to help stop those playmakers in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27259" first="Vernon" last="Redd"]</strong> and <strong>Donovan Walker</strong>. Vernon is most likely to play defensive back at the next level. This is the first conference meeting between Aliquippa and Chartiers Valley who both have good players. Who gets bragging rights first?
