The 2020 Michigan high school football season was back in action throughout the weekend and it was another week filled with impressive performances. Here are some of the top performers from across the state in the 2022 and 2023 classes.
Lamont Parks | WR | Western International
Parks isn’t a well known name yet, but I have a good feeling that he will be. He was dominant in a 36-12 win over Detroit Henry Ford. He caught 13 passes for 236 yards and one touchdown, but also had an 85-yard kick return for another score. The junior has great speed and is known for making plays after the catch. I’m excited to see him continue to get even better heading into his senior season.

Everett was a key part of Montague’s 41-13 win over North Muskegon. He scored three touchdowns and had a big 87-yard return to kickoff the second half. The junior is on the smaller side, but he is a speedster that has the talent to play on the next level.
[player_tooltip player_id="30308" first="Quincy" last="Salter"] | LB | Livonia Stevenson
Salter is an up-and-coming linebacker in the 2022 class and he put together an impressive performance Friday night. The junior recorded 12 tackles and was getting after the quarterback all night in a 42-21 win over John Glenn. He is a rangy player that is still filling out his frame, but he will be playing somewhere at the next level.
[player_tooltip player_id="30229" first="Owen" last="Worthington"] | QB | Grand Haven
Worthington is a lesser known quarterback in the 2022 class, but he could easily become a fast riser. His team hasn't had a great season, but he showed that he is a solid athlete that can beat you with his arm or his legs. His recruiting hasn’t picked up yet, but I expect it to once the offseason starts.
