The 2021-2024 offensive line group in Northern California is a deep and talented unit that includes many top prospects with college level ability such as Cal bound [player_tooltip player_id="25111" first="Ryan" last="Lange"], SDSU bound Ilaisa Gonebure, UCLA bound [player_tooltip player_id="25076" first="Noah" last="Pulealii"], [player_tooltip player_id="25288" first="Uluakinofo" last="Taliauli"] and Washington bound [player_tooltip player_id="25123" first="Robert" last="Wyrsch"], among others. The prospects listed in this series are flying under the radar, especially due to COVID-19 effecting the college recruiting process. Here is part I of the III part series in which we will dive into the top under-recruited Norcal offensive lineman that are poised to breakout during the 2021 season.
Joshua Ngaluafe, 6’2" 340 Ibs., River City HS.
Currently holding one FCS offer from Cal Poly, Ngaluafe is one of the most physically imposing two-way lineman in Northern California. On film, the 300+ prospect is incredibly light on his feet for his size and displays a strong first step/initial punch. He also displays his ability to pull and block in space while not over-pursuing defenders and keeping good balance/body control through out his blocks. The River City prospect plays with a low pad level and strong base for his size while finishing/sustaining blocks well on the first and second level. The 2021 prospect should continue to real in more division 1 interest and offers as the California football season kicks off in the coming Winter months.

Champ Ulufale, 6’5" 310 Ibs, Elk Grove HS.
Only entering into his Junior season, Ulufale is a rising prospect that helped anchor the offensive line for one of Northern California’s top teams, the Elk Grove Thundering Herd. A big framed young prospect that will only continue to grow into his frame and build his strength/power he is a physical player that displays natural athleticism and ability to move and block both in the box and through out the second level. A very strong run-blocker, Ulufale is a still developing prospect that should start to see some initial college offers and interest increase as he enters the halfway point of his high school career.

Jaxon King, 6’8" 285 Ibs., Union Mine HS.
The tall and lengthy Union Mine prospect is an intriguing rising Junior that will soon be collecting college interest. A rare combination of size and length, King still has room to develop as a polished player, but holds good upside at the next level. On tape, he displays/uses his long arms to keep defenders away from his body and is patient in pass protection while showing good lateral movement ability for his size. The 2022 prospect will continue to add weight/muscle to his frame and is looking to improve upon a strong Sophomore season for the Miners.

Geoffrey Hester, 6’2" 295 Ibs., Sacred Heart Cathedral HS
The 2021 San Francisco product is coming off a dominating Junior season where he proved he has the physical and mental tools to play at the next level. On tape, he does not carry bad weight and is athletic for his size/flashes strong lateral movement ability in pass protection. Possessing a strong and compact frame, Geoffrey displays great strength at the point of attack and a good initial punch in the run game and in pass-pro. He also displays natural hip/knee bend while finishing blocks at both the first and second level with good physicality and toughness. At the next level, he projects as an interior player and will be one of the most dominating offensive lineman in the Bay Area during the 2021 football season.
