Today we look at the 6A District 10 area which is loaded with talent from the Hillsborough County area. Big time players and some under the radar prospects are spotlighted below!
Laregos Williams DT- Hillsborough
6’0 305lbs
Williams is one of the best interior defensive lineman in Tampa Bay. Currently holds offers from UT Martin and Gardner-Webb. Through three games he’s registered 13 tackles, 3.5 tackles-for-loss, 1 QB hurry, and a sack. He has a compact frame that gives him natural leverage, he has a nice first step and shows a lot of power knocking lineman on their heels. He’s strong enough to play one technique and quick enough to play three-technique.

Dorian Fenner DT- Hillsborough c/o 22
6’3 280lbs
Fenner is a two-way player that also excels playing offensive tackle, I didn’t find a lot of film on him as a defensive lineman, but what I did see he has D-1 size, a nice punch, leg drive, and does a good job as a bull rusher. He also looks to have good upper body strength and consistently shed lineman with ease. Three four games he has 12 tackles 3.5 tackles-for-loss, three QB hurries, and two sacks.

Yoseph Israel DE- Middleton
6’1 220lbs
Israel is a terrific sleeper Prospect that I found, he has elite get off and uses his hands extremely well to get around blockers. He’s a very versatile player that at the next level could convert to linebacker. He has explosive burst upfield and with improved technique could be an outstanding pass rusher. I hope some schools find this kid because he is a baller that is relentless. Will be a steal for whatever School finds him and offers.

Robert Phillips DE- Spoto
6’2 245lbs
Phillips is more of a run-stuffing defensive tackle who eats up blocks and clogs gaps, he will most likely have to add weight and kick inside at the next level. He does show closing speed in pursuit, he’s more of a bull rusher at this point, but could develop into a nice small school prospect.

Joe Cowans DT- Blake c/o 22
5’10 270lbs
Cowans has terrific burst and strength off the snap, consistently splits blocks and gets into the backfield. He is very disruptive and has a lot of agility for a big man, and changes directions with ease. He moves effortlessly for his size, and will only get better next season.

Carson Moore DE- Jefferson
6’3 232lbs
More is off to a terrific start to the season registering 18 tackles, six tackles-for-loss, 10 QB hurries, and three sacks. Moore is a really nice prospect that shows outstanding get off and closing speed. He uses his hands really well and has really good lateral agility, he also has very good strength taking on blocks and shedding. He has the athletic ability to move to linebacker in college if needed. I’m surprised he doesn’t have a offer yet. This kid is a ball player!

Nasir Beckham DE- Jefferson
6’2 200lbs
Beckham is another good Prospect from Tampa Jefferson that will probably be switched to linebacker in college. He’s off to a fantastic start with 28 tackles, 6 tackles for losses, 3 sacks, and 10 QB hurries. His first-step get off is really good and has the ability to get skinny around the corner, also shows a really nice swim move. He does a really good job changing direction and getting to the ball quickly.

Ernest Williams DT- Jefferson c/o 22
6’1 245lbs
Williams can play any technique on the interior of the defensive line, he has outstanding power and consistently bull rushes linemen into the backfield. He also shows a nice first step and is able to split blocks and get into the backfield. He has surprising quickness for a player his size. He’s an outstanding prospect. He has 16 tackles, one tackle for loss, and two QB hurries on the season.
