Top 2021 Recruit Down to Final 6 Schools

The top recruit in the 2021 New Jersey class is down to six schools. [player_tooltip player_id="27859" first="Tywone" last="Malone"] of Bergen Catholic, a standout in football and baseball, will be deciding between in-state Rutgers, Florida State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M and USC, he announced on his Twitter page last week. Malone, a college-ready defensive lineman, has made it known that he wants to play both baseball and football at the next level. He has been getting more and more prepared through one of the state’s best programs in Bergen Catholic. Malone will announce his college choice at the Under Armour All-American game this January. All six schools have been persistent in their recruiting of Malone in both football and baseball. Listed at 6-foot-4, 300 pounds, Malone has the build to compete right away wherever he chooses. He can certainly be a factor in baseball with his power, too. It’ll be interesting to follow Malone’s recruiting process as he finalizes his college destination.
