Oaks Christian class of 2022 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id="25246" first="Sterling" last="Lane"] was offered by Washington State Monday.
Lane is 6-foot-4, 235 pounds and can play outside linebacker or defensive end depending on the defensive scheme.
He is the third best linebacker in California’s 2022 class <a href="https://prepredzone.com/california/rankings/2022-rankings/">according to Prep Redzone</a>. He is a four star recruit according to 247Sports.
Washington State is the eleventh school to offer Lane and the fifth school in the Pac 12 conference to offer him, joining Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and Utah.

<strong>Sierra Canyon athlete goes Ivy</strong>
Wide receiver and defensive back Terrell Long announced his commitment to Columbia Wednesday.
Long had 136 yards receiving and a touchdown for Sierra Canyon as a junior last season. He had 25 tackles, two sacks and a pass deflection on defense.
He is 6-foot-3, 175 pounds and doubles as a track athlete for Sierra Canyon.
Long also had an offer from Air Force before committing to Columbia.
Hayden McDonald of O’Dea High School in Seattle, Washington is the only defensive back in Columbia’s 2021 recruiting class and there are no receivers in the class. Long is the first player from California in the class as well.

<strong>Vista Murrieta TE adds two big offers</strong>
Virginia Tech and Florida State joined the plethora of schools to offer class of 2022 tight end [player_tooltip player_id="25235" first="Jack" last="Pedersen"].
He is a 4.0 GPA student and also a baseball star at Vista Murrieta High.
Pedersen is 6-foot-4, 240 pound tight end who is an excellent blocking and receiving tight end. He is the top 2022 tight end in the state according to Prep Redzone. 247Sports ranks him as the fifth best tight end in the nation for his class.
<strong>2022 running back lands Pac 12 offer</strong>
St. Francis running back [player_tooltip player_id="25271" first="Max" last="Garrison"] was offered by Washington State Monday.
Garrison is an all-purpose running back who ran for five yards per carry as a sophomore last season for St. Francis (La Canada). He caught 17 passes for 294 yards and three touchdowns.
He also has offers from Arizona State, Florida Atlantic, Kansas and Texas.

<strong>Former California QB commits</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="25213" first="Ethan" last="Grady"], formerly of St. Monica High School in California and now at Valor Christian High in Highlands Ranch, CO. announced his commitment to Bucknell Tuesday.
He completed 70 percent of his passes for 2,266 yards and 21 touchdowns for St. Monica last season. Valor Christian begins its season on October 10 according to MaxPreps.
Grady also had offers from Northern Arizona, San Diego and San Jose State prior to his commitment.
He is the third player in Bucknell’s 2021 recruiting class and the only quarterback.
