Sunshine State Athletic Conference Top RB’s-PART 2

<span style="font-size: 18pt;">In this series I will be featuring players from the Sunshine State Athletic Conference. It's a conference of Private and Charter Schools. They don't get the attention that the other regions and districts do because of classification. There are a lot of good prospects and sleepers in this conference that I will be featuring and spotlighting from all over the state of Florida. Today we look at Running Backs that have potential to play at the next level.</span> &nbsp; &nbsp; <strong><em>Ethan Maxwell- Bishop Snyder</em></strong> <strong><em>6'0 190lbs </em></strong> Maxwell's a nice prospect that plays both ways as most of these prospects at the smaller school do. He has good vision, balance and finishes runs with power. He has a little shake as well and can make defenders miss. He's rushed for 517 yards through seven games this season. <strong><em>Film:</em></strong> <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/10967963/Ethan-Maxwell">https://www.hudl.com/profile/10967963/Ethan-Maxwell</a> &nbsp; <strong><em>Isaac Depena- Gateway Charter </em></strong> <strong><em>5'7 170lbs</em></strong> Depena has a short compact build, he has some lateral burst and gets north and south in a hurry. He consistently runs through tackles, he's rushed for 418 yards through four games this season. <strong><em>Film:</em></strong> <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/12671758/Isaac-Depena">https://www.hudl.com/profile/12671758/Isaac-Depena</a> &nbsp; <strong><em>Demarion Jenkins- Orlando Christian Prep c/o 25</em></strong> <strong><em>5'7 165lbs</em></strong> Jenkins is absolutely electric with the ball in his hands and he's only in the eighth grade! I will confidently say that he will be one of the state's best players by his senior year, he makes short cuts and eludes defenders with ease when he's in the open field, and his acceleration is off the charts. He has outstanding vision and speed. He reminds me of a Reggie Bush type player. He's averaging a whopping 13.9 yards per carry this season. <strong><em>Film:</em> </strong><a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13405666/Demarion-Jenkins">https://www.hudl.com/profile/13405666/Demarion-Jenkins </a> &nbsp; <strong><em>Zhyan Karioki- Orlando Christian Prep c/o 23</em></strong> <strong><em>5'10 200lbs</em></strong> Karioki is the power back that also doubles as a linebacker. He runs with a natural low center of gravity, has good pad level and balance. He will drop his shoulder and flat knock your head off as a blocker as well. He forms a fantastic one two punch with Demarion Jenkins. He's rushed for 375 yards this season averaging 8.5 yards per carry. <strong><em>Film:</em></strong> https://www.hudl.com/profile/14727335/Zhyan-Karioki &nbsp; <strong><em>Terris Wilson- Mount Dora Academy c/o 22</em></strong> <strong><em>6'0 210lbs</em></strong> Wilson is a powerfully-built back that has surprisingly quick feet, reads his blocks very well and stutter steps his way through holes while getting up field. He's very nimble for a player his size and consistently gets up field for positive yards. He's a definite College Prospect that should start seeing some interest come his way after this season. <strong><em>Film:</em></strong> <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11471028/Terris-Wilson">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11471028/Terris-Wilson</a> &nbsp; <strong><em>Grady Paxton- Out-of-Door Academy c/o 22</em></strong> <strong><em>5'10 170lbs</em></strong> Paxton is a nice two-way player that also excels on defense. As a running back he shows instincts and patience through the hole and doesn't waste any motion getting up field.
