Remember, it has been 10 months since many of these prospects laced up the cleats and got out there and played football.
The pandemic sidelined everyone for the spring and all of the summer, preventing many football players from helping their stock rise.
So, with some teams already starting – and others looking forward to get this season started in the next month, getting attention is perhaps the biggest part of the process.
Today, we have five seniors from across the state who are in the same situation as many – and need that film to send out to colleges nationally.
Matthew Blackmon Jr., CB/WR, Palm Bay. When it comes to helping his football team win games, this is certainly an athlete who can do it all. Offense, defense and special teams, he has a knack of making the big play using skill, speed and athleticism. Waiting on the return of football to help his stock rise in this shortened season.

James Gardner, DE, Fort Pierce Westwood. This is an impressive talent for a program that figures to have a solid season. A versatile prospect who can get after the passer, but is agile enough to stop the run and drop back into coverage if needed. A lot of eyes will be on this young man this season – as he continues to grow and mature.

Aidan Kirk, WR, Estero. This gifted young man was someone we watched and promoted before, but heading into the season, it was worth showcasing him once again. Has a lot of passion for the game and will absolutely do those little things that it takes to be a well-rounded football player. If you don’t cover him, he will make your day a very long one. Has quickness and is a solid route runner. Should be a major impact player.

Nick Monteiro, DB/RB, Cape Coral. This is one of those gifted talents that you can put anywhere and he comes out and plays hard. Whether it’s on offense as a running back, where he has speed and instincts – or in the secondary, a place that he is always around the football, here is truly someone special and has a lot to offer at the next level.

Damion Robinson, WR/RB/DB, Chipley. This is a major talent who you have to account for on every play – no matter where he lines up, Receiver, running back, defensive back. This is a tremendous talent who can dictate games. This program is fortunate to have someone with kind of ability and positive attitude toward the game.
