The athletes provided below are kids who should see their stock rise throughout the state and start to receive higher caliber offers and or offers in general.
[player_tooltip player_id="58753" first="Nemo" last="Roberts"]: 6’1 265 Cabell Midland High School 2022 DL
Hudl:https://www.hudl.com/profile/13131588/Nehemiah-Roberts
Nemo possess all the traits of a skilled interior lineman and has great quickness, explosion and power. He has great hands and wins most of his 1v1s and gets double teamed quite often. Nemo was double teamed last year many times as a sophomore and I think Nemo is still one of the most underrated lineman in the state and is looking to have a big year on both sides of the ball. Named to the Preseason All State team Nemo will look to lead a inexperienced line on both sides of the ball and continue to progress. He’s currently the best DL for the class of 2022.
[player_tooltip player_id="58774" first="Dominick" last="Stingo"]: 5’11 175 Fairmont Senior High School 2022 QB
Hudl:https://www.hudl.com/profile/11716843/Dominick-Stingo
Dominick hasn’t really seen much playing time because of [player_tooltip player_id="58654" first="Gage" last="Michael"] but has impressed when he does go into the game. Dominick is a dual threat mobile QB with good vision who has a good arm and good accuracy. He’s all around a solid QB but I think will progress with more playing time under his belt and put up really good numbers his senior year.
[player_tooltip player_id="58826" first="Trey" last="Dunn"]: 6’0 175 South Charleston High School 2023 QB
Hudl:https://www.hudl.com/profile/12299449/Trey-Dunn
Trey has started for South Charleston since his freshman year and has progressed every year with experience. Trey is another dual threat QB that can make pretty much any throw on the field with his arm talent. His arm accuracy is good and on field decision making progresses as he learns more of the offense. Trey will keep progressing and I think will put the state on notice.
[player_tooltip player_id="58759" first="Braxton" last="Todd"]: 6’0 180 Martinsburg High School 2022 LB
Hudl:https://www.hudl.com/profile/11956369/Braxton-Todd
Braxton has great athleticism to play inside or outside linebacker and chase down plays. He hasn’t had much playing time until this season but is showing that he can be a top linebacker in the state. Braxton is consistently in the backfield and continues to wreak havoc for the bulldogs. He can run sideline to sideline and shows the athleticism to make big hits as well. Look for Braxton to continue to grow and become a top linebacker in the state.
[player_tooltip player_id="58825" first="Mondrell" last="Dean"]: 6’2 200 South Charleston High School 2023 RB
Hudl:https://www.hudl.com/profile/13152320/Mondrell-Dean
Mondrell is the only kid on the list with a D1 offer already. Cincinnati offered Mondrell over the summer and I’m sure more will follow. Mondrell is a powerful runner with great vision, balance and the size to run through defenders but also the ability to make people miss. His speed is underrated when in the open field and I think he’s going to be one of the best players in the state and continue to pickup high caliber offers.
[player_tooltip player_id="58827" first="Jaeden" last="Hammack"]: 6’1 170 University High School 2023 CB
Hudl:https://www.hudl.com/profile/13057896/Jaeden-Hammack
Jaeden has great athleticism and possess good ball skills at DB. He recorded 5 interceptions last year as a freshman and continues to grow and gain experience playing at corner. He’s a multisport athlete and has great jump ball skills and grabs interceptions as a result. He has good coverage skills and is quick when reacting to the ball being thrown. Look for Jaeden to continue to grow and become even more dominant after having a good freshman campaign last year.
[player_tooltip player_id="58765" first="Tariq" last="Miller"]: 5’10 160 North Marion High School 2022 WR
Hudl:https://www.hudl.com/profile/11334811/Tariq-Miller
Tariq posses good ball skills and has good quickness, speed and open field elusiveness. Look for Tariq to get an even bigger role his junior year and keep making plays. Tariq has great hands and a natural feel for playing receiver and plays bigger than his size fighting through the first tackler most plays. Look for Tariq to have a big year this year as well as the following year.
