Gunslingers of 7A District 14
With the 2020 season started, I’m spotlighting Quarterback prospects from every classification in Florida. Today we look at the 7A District 14 area which is loaded with talent from the South Florida area. Big time players and some under the radar prospects are spotlighted below!
Cedquan Smith- Plantation
6’0 180lbs
Smith is a transfer to Plantation from Western High where he completed 68% of his passes and threw nine touchdowns last season. He is a smooth throwing Lefty that flicks the ball with ease. Smith shows good instincts and poise in the pocket and also when rolling out. He throws a beautiful deep ball with touch. Smith gets the ball out of his hand quickly and has really good ball placement to hit receivers in stride. Currently holds offers from Kent State, Georgia Southern, and Cincinnati.

Turner is one of the highest recruited QB’s in the c/o 22, he is a three-star rated dual-threat prospect from powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas. In his first game this season he threw for 206 yards three touchdowns and ran for 60 yards on the ground. Turner has nice arm strength and will thread the needle on perimeter passes, he also has good touch and ball placement on deep and intermediate throws. He stresses defenders with his ability to throw on the run or tuck it and go; he has good lateral agility and acceleration when taking off. He currently holds over 11 offers including three offers from power 5 schools such as Arkansas, Miami, and LSU.

Zachary Robinson- Nova
6’0 185lbs
Robinson is a pro-style quarterback that threw for 1178 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Robinson is a smart quarterback (4.2 GPA) that has above average mechanics and footwork; takes what the defense gives him and gets the ball out of his hands quickly, he shows the ability to fit the ball through tight windows, also shows good touch on short and intermediate routes. Robinson has good ability to feel pressure and get out of trouble while keeping his eyes downfield. He throws accurately on the move rolling out to either side of the pocket. He currently holds one offer from University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Allan Stanley- South Plantation
6’4 215lbs
Stanley is a tall prototype QB that has really good athletic ability who has an outstanding arm. The ball comes out of his hand effortlessly, he has a natural set up and delivery, and shows good mechanics and footwork. He doesn’t have just a strong arm, he also throws with touch and ball placement on deep throws. He’s a nice prospect that can definitely play at the next level. Stanley threw for 1117 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.
