Defensive backs are the last line of defense in the defensive unit. They anchor the defensive unit and cover a lot of ground on every play. These defensive backs are the best in the area.
<strong>#1. [player_tooltip player_id="28472" first="Tymir" last="Brown"], 6’0” 166 – Jacksonville HS.</strong> UNC commit is a physical player who makes solid hits. He displays quickness and break-away speed while playing in the offensive backfield.
<strong> #2. [player_tooltip player_id="28497" first="Chase" last="Hattley"], 6’3” 205 – Panther Creek HS.</strong> NC State commit reads the defense well and makes punishing tackles. He has the instinct to be in position to intercept passes.
<strong>#3. [player_tooltip player_id="28504" first="Shawn" last="Chappell"], 6’2” 185 – Southern Durham HS.</strong> Ga. Tech commit is a physical player who intercepts a high number of passes.
<strong>#4. [player_tooltip player_id="28574" first="Kamron" last="Hoover"], 5’10” 165 – Havelock HS.</strong> Read plays well and is quick to get to the ball carrier. He is solid as a punt returner and is a threat to score on each return.
