The 2020 Michigan high school football season was back in action throughout the weekend and it was another week filled with impressive performances. Here are some of the top performers from across the state in the 2021 class.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="29957" first="Austin" last="Jordan"] | OL | Stoney Creek</strong>
Jordan’s performance won’t show up on the stat sheet, but he had a great night. He opened holes for the Stoney Creek rushing attack all night and he has a sky high ceiling on the next level. He currently holds zero offers, but I expect that to change very soon given his talent and how well he has been playing this season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="29822" first="Sam" last="Dersa"] | WR | Catholic Central</strong>
Dersa didn’t blow up the stat sheet this week, but he consistently made some key plays. He showed his quickness and ability after the catch all night and he made a big play late in the game when he stripped the ball from a U of D player after a botched field goal and returned it for a touchdown to put the lead out of reach. The Saginaw Valley State commit was the best player on that field Friday night.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="29720" first="Braeden" last="Carskadon"] | QB | Hart</strong>
Carskadon is a small school player, but he had a really impressive performance in a 46-36 victory of Shelby. The senior quarterback carried the ball 41 times for 326 yards and five touchdowns while tacking on four two-point conversions. He completed 5-of-14 passes for 117 yards and another touchdown. He doesn’t have any recruiting interest that I am aware of, but he could be a late steal for a college program.
