Top 100: Young DBs Are Making Noise
The Class of 2022 has some quality football prospects. One of the place that is really gifted are the safeties. We have five of them, including Alfonzo Allen (Hallandale), Dominick Fields (St. Johns Bartram Trail), Azareyeh (Niceville), Markeith Williams (Orlando Evans – PICTURED) and Kamari Wilson (Bradenton IMG Academy).

There are two positions in the state of Florida that dominate every other state in the country – by far. As we already know – by looking at NFL rosters, the receiver talent that lines up every Sunday and Monday that comes from Florida is crazy. Some of the elite prospects you will find anywhere. But when it comes to defensive backs, it is what first round NFL prospects are made from – and continue to more than dot rosters at the professional level. It is the secondary where so many highly-trained prospects are born and bred or the next level and beyond. As we continue to spotlight our Top 100 plus Class of 2022 football talent, we bring you some more defensive standouts to check out. [player_tooltip player_id="50001" first="Alfonzo" last="Allen"], S, 6-1, 200, Hallandale. While he burst onto the radar screen two years at McArthur, this is a very talented prospect. Solid run stopper, who has outstanding cover skills and a passion to the play this game at a high level. He loves to hit. The one thing that you will notice about this quality football player is he will always be around the ball. TAPE: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11622049/Alfonzo-Allen [player_tooltip player_id="50022" first="Dominick" last="Fields"], S, 6-0, 180, St. Johns Bartram Trail. Tough to find a football prospect that wants to hit like this young man does. After a stellar sophomore year, he is bigger, stronger and much more wiser – and as he gets the opportunity to play top-flight opponents, he will have a better idea what needs to be done over the next two years. Solid prospects that comes to play. TAPE: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11277615/Dominick-Fields Azareyeh.Thomas, S, 6-3, 175, Niceville. When the first play that you see this impressive football talent make is a 65-yard touchdown reception, you take a step back and want to see what he does on defense. This is one of the top safety prospects in the state for this class – because he is talented and versatile. Just the type of football player they love at the next level. He is the kind of performer who makes big plays. A solid basketball player as well. TAPE: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11799979/Azareyeh-Thomas [player_tooltip player_id="49992" first="Markeith" last="Williams"], S, 6-2, 180, Orlando Evans. Very few grew up in one year like this young man did. Physically and mentally, he made huge strides and showcased some impressive skills. This is truly someone with everything you need to be great at this and the next level. He has two full years to work on his game – now that he has certainly made a commitment. TAPE: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11479964/Markeith-Williams [player_tooltip player_id="49985" first="Kamari" last="Wilson"], S, 6-1, 195, Bradenton IMG Academy. Easily one of the top football players in the nation – having a huge season at Fort Pierce Westwood. This is a major talent that will continue to elevate his status over the next two years. There is very little he cannot do. Quick, strong, athletic and understands the game well. If you are going to have any chance of landing this young man, you better continue to show him love. He is indeed elite. TAPE: https://www.hudl.com/profile/11319583/KAMARI-WILSON You Can Contact Larry Blustein with prospect or team information at: Foridakids1@aol.com.
