UCLA had a very active September 1st, offering many of Southern California’s top athletes in the class of 2022. The Bruins offered <span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="25227" first="Tetairoa" last="McMillan"], [player_tooltip player_id="25248" first="Mekhi" last="Fox"], [player_tooltip player_id="25231" first="Niuafe" last="Tuihalamaka"], [player_tooltip player_id="25230" first="Kamari" last="Ramsey"] and [player_tooltip player_id="25225" first="Raleek" last="Brown"].</span> McMillan is the number two receiver in the class of 2022 according to 247Sports and the number 17 overall prospect in the country. He led Servite in receptions last year with 65, and 851 yards and 12 touchdowns. He’s a big receiver at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds and can win one-on-one battles with defenders. Fox has seven offers including Arizona State, Florida, Oregon, UCLA, Utah, Florida Atlantic and Nebraska. Tuihalamaka is the top 2022 linebacker in the state. He is verbally committed to USC but there is a lot of time between now and the first day he will be able to sign next December. UCLA joins 13 other schools in offering the Alemany star. Ramsey is the number two defensive back in the 2022 class a<a href="https://prepredzone.com/california/rankings/2022-rankings/">ccording to Prep Redzone</a>. He is 6-foot-1 and nearly 200 pounds. He will share carries with [player_tooltip player_id="25281" first="Quincy" last="Craig"] and [player_tooltip player_id="25109" first="Marceese" last="Yetts"], but he will be very productive for the Monarchs. Brown is arguably the top running back in the nation in his class and he is the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2020/08/top-10-orange-county-running-backs-1-5/">best runner in Southern California</a>. Oklahoma is the heavy favorite to land Brown. <strong>Ambuehl headed to Vegas</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">St. John Bosco offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id="25188" first="Anton" last="Ambuehl"] announced his commitment to UNLV Wednesday. </span> Ambuehl transferred to St. John Bosco from Calabasas and he is the No. 25 offensive lineman in the state according to Prep Redzone. His teammate [player_tooltip player_id="25113" first="Kamren" last="Blanton"] is headed to UNLV and he is the second California offensive lineman to head to UNLV, joining [player_tooltip player_id="25079" first="Anthony" last="Rosas"]. UNLV has the top recruiting class in the Mountain West. <strong>Fresno State offers Mira Mesa star</strong> Class of 2022 athlete [player_tooltip player_id="25333" first="Tajon" last="Evans"] was offered by Fresno State Wednesday. Fresno State is the second school to offer Evans, joining Utah State. Evans is Mira Mesa’s leading returning receiver and had four touchdowns as a sophomore. Logan was named the Trinity League MVP punter last season. He had seven offers prior to committing to Colorado. Logan averaged 38 yards per punt last season and pinned 12 inside the opponent’s 20 yard line. He had 1633 yards for the CIF finalists Cubs last season. Zermeno rushed for 7.3 yards per carry and had a pair of touchdowns.
