A lot of times these kids get overlooked because they do not play at big schools; they deserve the opportunity to be seen by college coaches as well. It is important that we highlight as many prospects as possible. At Prep Redzone Florida, we are different than most sites where we want to emphasize guys that are not being heavily recruited and try to promote them, so they get an opportunity get the exposure they deserve!
Joshua Ealy- North Florida Educational
6’1 201lbs
Ealy is off to a terrific start in 2020, he has thrown for 178 yards and one touchdown and rushing for 150 yards in 2 games this season. Ealy is a dual-threat quarterback, he is really good at running the zone-read or direct runs, showing patience vision and long speed. He does show the ability to throw short and intermediate, I believe with him being such a good athlete that he’ll switch positions at the next level.

Roger Payne Jr.- Munroe
6’0 170lbs
Payne has a unique ability to improvise in the pocket and scramble and make accurate throws downfield. His mobility enables him to slip by tacklers and find the open man. Payne has a surprisingly strong arm for his size and has nice deep ball accuracy. Payne is also very effective as a runner in Munroe’s zone read scheme.

Jaylon Hunter- Eagles View c/o 22
6’0 165lbs
Hunter is a nice quarterback prospect; he makes good decisions and processes quickly through his reads and knows where to go with the football. He has nice compact footwork and a smooth throwing motion. He is a throw first quarterback, but he will pull the ball down and has athleticism to run for good yardage.

Brayden Phillips- North Florida Christian
6’2 190lbs
Phillips is one of the best quarterback prospects in 2A, he threw 5tds last game! He’s got a prototype release and good footwork. He has nice timing and anticipation and makes quick decisions, he is very accurate in short-to-intermediate passes and does have the arm strength to push the ball down field with accuracy. Phillips is good enough to play at the Division 1 level, I believe he will get some of those offers this year.

Jonah Needham- Ricky Bayou Christian c/o 22
6’2 165lbs
Needham has good height for quarterback, plays in the spread offense and gets the ball out of his hand quickly, seems to know where to go with the football. He shows adequate arm strength and has sneaky athleticism, showing the ability to tuck the ball and run when need be. He’s a class of 22 player that I believe will improve over the next few seasons into a small school Prospect.

Desirrio Riles- University Christian c/o 23
6’3 208lbs
Riles could end up being a big-time quarterback prospect in Florida when it is all said and done. He’s got outstanding size and will only get bigger. He’s got a big-time arm and throws the ball effortlessly, he makes very quick decision and throws out routes with accuracy, Riles can also run the ball showing agility and power. The sky’s the limit for him, he’ll be a big-time prospect in the future.
