Oregon’s Best Offense Selected – All Classes & Classifications

If I was selecting the best athletes to put on the field within the state of Oregon, these are the individuals I would choose on both Offense and Defense. Players will only be listed on one side of the football and they can be from any class or classification level.  Athletes currently playing out of state can be named as well. Have a look and stay tuned for part 2 with the defense tomorrow.   QB [player_tooltip player_id="28837" first="Brian" last="Mannion"] 6-2 180 Jr. Mountainside  3* - So talented I could see him being the 6A POY this season. He will hold double digit D1 offers before he is done from some of the top schools in America. QB [player_tooltip player_id="28700" first="Drew" last="Carter"] 6-3 195 Sr. Tigard-  3* (COMMITTED: Colorado) One of the top dual sport athletes ever to come out of Oregon. Drew will be playing hoops for the CU as well, something very rare to say the least. RB [player_tooltip player_id="51867" first="Gavin" last="Haines"] 6-1 200 Sr. West Linn 3* (OFFERS: Idaho St, Georgetown) My favorite to win 6A Offensive POY honors. Defensively he has some Brady Breeze type attributes but he is a 30 TD/2000+ yard back offensively RB [player_tooltip player_id="28697" first="Damir" last="Collins"] 5-9 190 Sr. Jefferson 4* (COMMITTED: Oregon St)  One of the best kids you will ever meet and someone who could see the field early for the Beavers. RB [player_tooltip player_id="28709" first="Nate" last="Denney"] 5-10 195 Sr. Bend 3* (COMMITTED: Yale)  Currently playing his ball in Texas at Georgetown HS. The Ivy league got a steal as I truly believe Denney would have had a handful of mid-major D1 offers or higher. WR [player_tooltip player_id="28833" first="Darrius" last="Clemons"] 6-3 195 Jr. Westview 4* (OFFERS: Michigan, Oregon, Notre Dame, Stanford etc..) One of the most recruited WR’s in the nation for his class, holding 27 D1 offers. He is currently playing for Pleasant Grove HS in Utah and having a decent season WR [player_tooltip player_id="28705" first="Trent" last="Walker"] 6-3 190 Sr. Beaverton 3* (OFFERS: Army, Air Force, San Diego, Valpo)  2,360 all purpose yards and 23 TDs over the last two seasons. It obviously doesn’t help if he is playing the QB position but whatever is best for the team. WR [player_tooltip player_id="28838" first="Miles" last="Williams"] 6-0 170 Jr. Clackamas 3* (OFERS: Oregon St, Nevada)  Expect a monster year from the underclassmen as Clack should return as one of the top teams in the state, led by an impressive 2022 class. ATH [player_tooltip player_id="32784" first="Aaron" last="Jones"] 5-10 180 Jr. Westview 3* (OFFERS: Oregon St, BYU, Nevada, Utah St) When healthy he is as good as anyone state wide. An absolute threat in space. Currently playing with [player_tooltip player_id="28833" first="Darrius" last="Clemons"] at Pleasant Grove HS in Utah TE [player_tooltip player_id="28698" first="Carson" last="Cota"] 6-4 240 Sr. South Medford 3* (OFFERS: Oregon, Georgia Tech, Utah St, New Mexico St)  Everyone knows the name Cota. Brother Chase is a standout at UCLA and I could foresee Carson replicating some of those feats. TE [player_tooltip player_id="28708" first="Joe" last="MaQatish"] 6-8 245 Sr. Santiam 2* (COMMITTED: Northern Arizona)  Another kid who I think made a great decision with his commitment to NAU. The size speaks for itself as MaQatish could make an immediate impact in the Big Sky. OL [player_tooltip player_id="28713" first="Holden" last="Whipple"] 6-5 285 Sr. West Salem 2* (OFFERS: Northern Arizona, Georgetown) Watch this man play basketball and you will get a glimpse of his upside. He has the potential of being the best lineman out of Oregon for his class. OL  [player_tooltip player_id="28718" first="Zach" last="Holmes"] 6-3 280 Sr. West Linn 2* (OFFERS: Air Force, Georgetown, Bucknell) Head coach Chris Miller raves about his ability. He is a legit (Guard) at the next level and someone who will only continue to get better. OL [player_tooltip player_id="28701" first="Shane" last="Schwake"] 6-8 295 Sr. Sheldon 3* (COMMITTED: Eastern Washington) I think EWU got a big steal here. Schwake’s mobility and coordination for kid with his size is something you can’t teach. Expect him to be a 3 year starter and one of the best in the Big Sky. OL [player_tooltip player_id="28703" first="Charlie" last="Pickard"] 6-5 290 Sr. Jesuit 3* (OFFERS: San Jose St, N.Arizona Eastern Wash, Idaho, Air Force)  Charlie’s stock is rising quickly, working with two of the top line coaches anywhere in Line Pro’s Alex Linnenkohl and John Andreas (Jesuit). OL [player_tooltip player_id="28710" first="Liam" last="Brown"] 6-5 280 Sr. Sunset  2* (OFFERS: Idaho, Montana, Portland St, Sac St) Another kid who could blow up with continued progression. Brown shows off his versatility on defense and could potentially add a few mid major’s or even a PAC 12 type offer C  [player_tooltip player_id="28704" first="Henry" last="Buckles"] 6-3 275 Sr. Hood River 3* (COMMITTED: Oregon St) The "mayor" of Hood River is also a phenomenal track and field athlete. A lot of credit to Buckles who got an early offer from the Beavers and jumped on it.
