EDEN PRAIRIE– It was a beautiful sunny day at Lifetime Sport for Saturday’s week 2 matchups in the My7on7 Fall League for high schools from Eden Prairie to St. Cloud and Sartell. This week I hand out the first week of “game balls” to show who played at their best on Saturday defensively.
How Do You Get a Game Ball?
Game Balls are on an “as watched” basis in the My 7on7 Fall League. I did my absolute best to float from field to field with my head on a swivel to watch two games on one field. These were the game balls I would like to hand out on the defensive side of the ball. Game Balls either made a big play I witnessed, played outstanding thru the duration of the game I watched or had an awesome week 2 altogether. If I missed you or you think I watched you but missed, feel free to shoot me a DM on Twitter at @thebrickwahl87.

Buckingham was also a stud at the Pylon 7on7 tournament in Maple Grove a few weeks back!

[player_tooltip player_id="18088" first="Ethan" last="Torgrimson"], ATH, Sartell (2021)
Torgrimson was also a baller on the defensive side of the ball for the Sabres, racking up four pass breakups in two games. Torgrimson might have been one of the best two-way prospects I watched on Saturday. Torrgrimson holds one Division II offer and 3 Division III offers and in my opinion should have more Northern Sun offers come in once the season starts in the coming weeks.

Luke Nienow, LB, Rochester Mayo (2021)
Three-year varsity starter for the Spartans. Undersized yet has a downhill motor that was very strong for the Spartans who are atop the AAA division along with Eden Prairie and Eau Claire Memorial.
