Intriguing Matchup to Watch: Asaad Robinson VS. Cole Weightman

Friday night is the start of the regular season in the WPIAL. We have an intriguing matchup to watch against McKeesport’s athlete Asaad Robinson (senior) and Belle Vernon’s linebacker [player_tooltip player_id="27628" first="Cole" last="Weightman"] (junior). Asaad is a little smaller but shows off his quickness, speed, and smooth-running ability. How will that fair against [player_tooltip player_id="27628" first="Cole" last="Weightman"]? Cole shows quickness to the hole, but can he get there fast enough to stop Asaad? Cole also shows he is a good wrap up tackler. When Asaad lines up as a receiver, it will be interesting to see how Cole does in coverage. That was a concern when watching his sophomore film. These are two different players, with Asaad being a D2, possible FCS player and Cole being a potential Power 5 linebacker. Who will win the battle and help their team to a victory?
